Ji Chang Wook is going all in with this one, the craziness, ruthlessness and the determination.... He has embodied Yoon Gil Ho (not that it's surprising). He's growing as an actor with every project.
I think you may still be missing my point. I’ve known for a while that JCW might not be in this drama due to scheduling conflicts with Fabricated City. The issue here isn’t his decision to pass on the role; it’s the lack of transparency from the production company, who let fans believe he was still involved. By not confirming his absence until recently, they allowed hope to linger, which made the sudden announcement of a replacement even more disappointing.
As for the idea that the production used JCW’s name for early promotion, that’s not an unfounded concern. When a project repeatedly connects itself with a major star during development, then pivots without clarification, fans feel understandably misled. I have no issue with JCW choosing projects that align with his schedule and career plans—no one blames him for prioritizing other opportunities. The frustration here is with the production company’s approach, not with JCW or his busy schedule.
I’m not hating on the drama simply because my favorite actor isn’t in it. The disappointment comes from how the production company handled the casting—building excitement around his involvement, only to make a sudden switch without clear communication. Fans naturally feel let down after being led to expect something else. It’s not about wishing failure on the show; it’s about feeling misled after investing our enthusiasm in a certain vision.
And I am not actually praying for the show to flop ( that was me letting out my frustration through the keyboard ). I actually like the other actors participating.... and I am actually going to watch it if it's good.
For months, we were led to believe that we'd finally see our favorite actor in a superhero role, only for the production company to abruptly announce Park Hyung Sik as his replacement. It feels as though they used JCW’s name to build anticipation and generate buzz, only to pivot once they’d gained enough attention. I didn’t protest when he chose not to participate in other projects like "Mantis" or "Low Life", but this time it’s different—the way the production company handled it feels misleading and unfair to fans who’ve invested their hopes in this role.
I personally like every member of the current cast ( My watchlist being the witness ). The hate is for the Production house.
Seems he bowed out due to scheduling. Looks like he's joining a Netflix project too in addition to what he's already…
Ah, I see—another day, another crusade against people enjoying things! You must be exhausted keeping tabs on all this immaturity. Maybe give yourself a break and let folks like what they like?
Wow, imagine the nastiness that takes for a person to wish every other actor in it, and the production crew and…
Thank you, Pastor Preachy! I do try to keep things lively. You know, if you ever need a break from judging personalities, we could always start a comedy duo—I'll bring the sass, you bring the sermon!

Whoa, Pastor Preachy! You really brought out the fire and brimstone on that one. Didn’t realize I was tuning in for a sermon on the casting sins. But hey, if I’m headed for personality purgatory, at least I’ll have some good company!
According to this article ji chang wook is one of the main leads ? They use his name and the title https://m.entertain.naver.com/article/477/0000519637
As the title suggests it's about a group of people working together, so everyone is playing a lead role
i hope Wookie never again take a script from Disney 🤧 they failed to utilised BIFF response
Me too, the platform is not doing any justice to his efforts. He is pouring his heart and soul into the character and getting lackluster support from the production.
