This drama is running similar to "King the land"

The Visuals and chemistry is doing most of the work.. it's in no way bad but I don't feel invested or find myself rooting for the leads.

Yes episodes 3 and 4 were so good and 5,6 are gonna have flashbacks of when they dated....

I like 3 scenes in particular.

1. When Samdal rescued Yong Pil out of the water and then Yong Pil was so embarrassed he asked her to leave, then found her sitting next to him and then the finger gun gesture (she looked so cute).

2. In the bus and when catching the falling blossom 🌸 leaf. Yong Pil was looking at her with eyes full of love, she on the other hand did something out of context (reaching for his wallet, biting his hand)

3. When Yong Pil confessed, and she in her super drunk state went "Who are you?" 😂😂

Then I would suggest to rely on the discussions and not ratings, I personally don't trust the ratings.

Of course neither of those things are right. What I'm saying is, they shouldn't label just one side as wrong, they should mention the other side as well.

You say you don't like people suddenly giving positive reviews to drama because it's untrustworthy.
Maybe to you this drama is below standard and doesn't deserve high ratings, but not everyone will agree with. You can't expect people like and dislike dramas based on your set standards. It may not be what you like but others may disagree.
People are giving it a high review and praise because they are genuinely liking the drama, that doesn't make it untrustworthy. Thats their view towards the drama like you have yours.

The sudden postive reviews are a result of a better 2nd week. This week the episodes were so much better.

I personally have given up on watching dramas based on Mdl ratings. I know both are wrong but you see that there are like 3, 4 other dramas airing right now, maybe more. Most of them have more watchers than this one. Now imagine that some toxic fans of those dramas coming to this page just to give low ratings and gaslighting people into not giving this drama a try through the ratings and comments. Statistically speaking the 5 (10 star ratings) are nothing compared to hundreds of low ratings. These 5 ratings won't make any difference to the average ratings.
This negativity has been there since the premiere of the very first episode.

I don't see anything wrong with that. There are people who are not even watching this drama and still coming here to rant about how bad the drama is and deliberately giving it low rating, just because they don't like the Main leads, or to hype thier fav currently airing drama.
These people are the ones who are actually manipulating people into not watching this drama with low Mdl ratings.

There's no hidden meaning to it, that's just the way it is.

That's what she actually wants to hear "I believe you" but can't bring herself to say it that's why she's indirectly asking them to say it as reassurance.

Her mother may be sick but let's not spoil it, not everyone has noticed it
