Yes that's what it is and that's what it promised to be. Almost 80% of Kdramas have similar start, what comes after is the main focus of the story and becomes the deciding factor whether it's gonna be something generic or new.

I do like your suggestion " it's okay that's love" but in that the leads weren't exes that's why I didn't mention the drama.

Again, I'm not asking you to stop speculating, predicting or writing your point of view. Just do it in a way that it feels like a prediction or view and not a fact, so that it doesn't stop new potential viewers from giving it a try.

I can't say for sure if it's exactly what you asked but maybe .... A good bad mother, uncontrollably fond, that's all I can think of

The only reason you and I are here arguing is because in your first comment you wrote your point of view as if they were facts.
You're this is where we come and discuss our point of views. But your was put in such a way that it may seem like facts to other which might stop them from even giving this drama a try and find out for themselves whether it's worth the watch or not.

You say the Fl has moved on from Ml and there's no emotion left in her directed towards him, when she's not had a single successful relationship after their breakup. We don't know what happened in their past, why they broke Up, what actually led to it, nothing. You call the Ml a simp because he's not moved on. Bro they spent 30 years together dated for like 8. It's not like he will snap his fingers and the emotions go away.

You got so much context from the 2 episodes which didn't even focus much on the leads story. You talk as if you're the fl herself.

And I don't think it's gonna get any better in the coming days. After Netflix is done promoting Sweet Home 2 they are gonna move on to promoting gyeongseong creature.

There's not gonna be much in the name of promotions by Netflix for this drama. All my hopes are on Jtbc and Fans...

My complaint is not with Jtbc, they did a decent job with the promotions. Castaway Diva was was also promoted well by Tvn.

It is a Netflix issue, if it's Netflix that's not doing a proper job at promoting the drama. You're right Netflix didn't produce the drama but they did buy the overseas streaming rights didn't they?

Netflix didn't produce Castaway Diva or strong girl nam soon either but they put in some efforts for those drama.
Don't you think if some other streaming platform had the streaming rights they would have put more efforts in the promotions.

The only reason I see is that they are too busy promoting My Demon and Sweet Home 2.

And...Why are you mentioning fan pages, I never said there are no promotions of any kind or fans aren't liking the show. Iwas complaining about the lack of efforts put in by Netflix.

I am not comparing it to any other dramas, I am just saying they could have done a lot more than they actually did.

I am not talking about events they could have done the promotions on social media, all Netflix did was release a trailer and a couple of photos which btw had long been released by Jtbc. Even on the premiere day they hardly made any effort to let the audience know about the release.
