5 minutes in and i decided to drop.

on ep23 and FL is too weak to be a skilled assassin. She couldn't even handle 2 lowly henchmen (whom ML dealt with pretty easily) and actually fainted lol.

Edit: it took me a good 70-80 eps to get into this drama. It's short but i still fast forwarded quite a lot.

Edit2: finished it and i really like the ending <3. Ain't no cliffhanger and was wrapped up nicely, leaving a fuzzy feeling <3

a waste of time. FL is a clingy and cringey doormat who got jealous out of nowhere and kept throwing herself onto ML. Dropped at ep9.

this had so much potential to be a great drama initially, but towards the end it fell flat. It began to drag from ep13 and i had to fast forward a lot. All the stupid breakup and hookup with the evil 2FL tired me out :<. The most triggering thing to me is the i-dump-you-for-your-own-good trope, because of which i almost dropped this. Finished with much struggle. I would rate this 8.0 before ep13, but from that point onwards it's a 5.0 for me. Overall 6.5.

btw FL's character writing is sooo bad and inconsistent. She got into debt and vacillated between 2 guys, who paid her debt for her. She's a banker who excels at mathematic, yet she can't even manage her own finance. Further, she has an excellent memory, yet she forgets half of her dates and either makes ML and SML wait, or stands them up/ bails on them. It felt like she's a material girl who dates both of them simultaneously whenever she sees fit, and then stands them up as she pleases. But I don't get why both guys are head over heel for her and would do anything to please her. This stuff only exists in drama lol. She doesn't deserve them. I feel really bad for both guys :(

Fluffy romance for a quick watch. Ads and clichéd plot aside, the leads' chemistry clicks very well and doesn't feel rushed. There're plenty of kisses on almost every episode (the highest number of kisses for a vertically-filmed short series), and ML is such an amazing kisser with on-point micro-expressions. His portrayal of the character is so endearing i'm totally sold and can't help but falling in love <3. Hope to see more of him as ML on screen in the future.

started watching because i wanna see for myself how bad this is. And this is the next level of abysmal, from horrible plot to laughable acting. ML is the embodiment of the revolting rapist of a scumbag, who treated FL the pathetic cinderella like a doormat, after which he has the audacity to still call himself her husband. He doesn't deserve to be the dirt under her feet. Just don't bother lol.

I love his acting in Zhang Gong Zhu Zai Shang. Hope to see more of him with Xia Xia.

This drama was good, until it's not. It went downhill from the 2nd arc with all the conspiracy from evil 2FL, from which point the chemistry fell flat, and the plot became very far-fetching & shallow, which is sad bcuz it has potential.

This started pretty well and was hilarious initially, but then FL became very spoilt and unreasonable, not to mention her lying and taking advantage of ML. Dropped.

This drama is not without flaws but the leads' chemistry clicked pretty well. Ngl I actually like the ending lol.
