I am not sure about others, but I felt Duanwu didn't accept that YZJ has betrayed her and the convoy. But she saw things happening in front of her; Wei Ying being stabbed by a person dressed as YZJ guard, Shrimp saying it was YZJ's guards hurting them, arrow shot by YZJ.
She still wanted to confront him and seek an explanation.
But YZJ refused to explain. He just said 'you already saw what happened' forcing her to accept it was the truth! So, I get why she is misunderstanding YZJ

As for YZJ, he is keeping DW in the dark not only bcoz he wants to protect her. But also bcoz he believes he has limited time and wants to avenge his family bcoz that's what has been keep him alive throughout the years. Moreover he believes staying with DW now will only mean more heartbreak for her and him since he is gonna die soon anyways. So he just wants her to move on, stay away from the revenge and rather go on living.
As of ep 21, i believe she is not staying in Yangzhou to get revenge; but to actually open a shop as she had promised Shrimp. That was the dream of both of them. And to do that, she needs to establish her footing there. As for getting entangled with Zhengs, the reason is obviously that contest and Lady Yu(who happens to be mother of that ZZH). It's just that now YZJ next target is Zheng so he is deliberately stopping her from staying in DW to keep her away from getting entangled.

I searched for it. There is a song named 'Su Mu Zhe' from the Tang dynasty itself (the drama setting period) about homesickness, unrequited love, and still surviving each day through the heartbreak. It's about a dancer. (She in turn asks her juniors to not evolve a romantic relationship with customers).

I guess that's what Su Mu Zhe also meant when she met Lady Huan and asked her not to depend on the lover.

For me, it didn't seem that she believed it completely initially. When she left the Langhua dockyard for Yangzhou, she wanted an explanation for what she saw, for what Shrimp said as his dying words. But YZJ simply implied what she saw was the truth! Forcing her to believe it I guess!
Her journey as Su Muzhe is gonna be exciting though!

So Lady Cui actually chose that way for revenge. Is she confused that Zheng family is also the enemy here, even with the selective truth she has seen. Zheng Zhi Heng stole that lotus pearl offering for Prince Tan which was the last way to plead for Cui family, leaving no way out!
