My thoughts too... Probably bcoz she just visited pearl farm to collect tribute pearls and never stayed there, she didn't realize. But that's actually ignorance. That's why I feel a mole. But it is for definite that the bandits came to the port. So the plan to lure out near the valley failed miserably and that's why ever ZJR seems to be late with the backup. YZJ probably tried to lure them away from the port with the news of pearl (as per my understanding from clips) and I guess that's the reason DW misunderstood since he left the port and convoy died. So she is now seeking an explanation. Plus in the trailer, it seems someone tried to stop the troops from mobilizing too. So I have a more sure feeling of a mole. 🥲 Plus that port didn't seem to be that heavily guarded to me. It was just few men of the master there. I don't want to doubt the master given the long history so I guess will somehow have to watch tomorrow's episode.

The drama is good. You are gonna enjoy it. The plot is good, cast has done a fantastic job, the chemistry is legit fire between the leads, especially the pacing is good.
Story of a pearl diver and merchant, revolving around business world, revenge, women in business especially! And u r gonna enjoy the cinematography to be honest! The novel is actually incomplete. It just has 10 chapters (basically gives the outline of all characters)
My heart broke for YZJ today! No wonder both DW and YZJ connected! Also, continuous poisoning! Plz let it be continuous healing now 🥲
Also, I am not sure why but I was satisfied to see CSJ being played in her own game. She played a game without actually planning for it. Like she had no manpower of her own and depended on Cui Jia (a repetitive betrayer -_-) The mine of Master Eight is similar to that pearl farm. Entire of Cui family is evil. -_-
Also, I loved that minor detail that DW calls YZJ 'Master' normally but when he is in danger, she refers to him as YZJ as well! Also DW concerned for YZJ to an extent where she refused to escape! 🖤
