DW was so annoyed to see that. She must be like 'Wait, wasn't he an intelligent and sharp merchant till now, what happened! Why has he gone mad over a girl! How can he let go of his entire wealth over a girl!' At the same time she is also worried that it's just some plot of YZJ but it will taint the reputation of that girl.
But seems like YZJ finds some connection of her missing sister with the Yue family so he wants to get close to that girl and the family to uncover something.

From the trailer, it seems like so. For now, she is not gonna change until she suffers a great deal which makes her see the reality of Cui family

I think her family history and urge to prove and protect herself and her mother is what's gonna give her a leeway to find a redemption arc.
