Also Mr Zhang, I sort of don't agree with the story. The mermaid never fell in love at the first sight. She was just grateful to the scholar for the help he offered. Her eyes sparkled bcoz she got to hear the stories of the outer world. She wanted to visit the outer world, but on her own; not with the scholar.

We r gonna get the yearning and angst for later half.
It's also good bcoz we won't get annoyed why they aren't getting together when they like each other. It will be sort of filled with angst and yearning since they got separated bcoz some incidents occurred tearing them apart!
And we also get proper love era too! That too sort of cute one 🤣

The plot is really going fast paced. I love it. The scenes i thought would come in the second half, have all come in the first 15 episodes!
