Uhh an Untamed fan here, so I can share my thought to you :D don't you also think that Shu Yi gives off a little…
Wow I made the same parallell too and wasn't expecting to see fellow Untamed fans here. They gave me some modern days wangxian vibes haha Like when Shu Yi asked Shi De how long he had liked the doctor, that was Wei Wuxian levels of cluelessness ("do you like Mian Mian?" haha

I agree. Why show him at all if he's not involved. Since Shu Yi is the one who is mad, my assumption is the dad…
I also fully believe he did something. Shi De wouldn't leave the love of his life like this for nothing. It had to be something big. I think he made Shi De believe that it would be better for Shu Yi to not be with him.
On We Best Love: No. 1 For You Feb 5, 2021
I think that for this first season they wanted to give us a happy, sweet, no drama, almost no conflict cute university love (and I was here for it). I felt all the butterflies in my stomach, smiled the whole time and this series was a source of serotonin for me. For part 2 I think they'll do something more serious and dramatic and saved all the angst for this season. If when we're young, loving is usually enough, in adult life reality hits and issues must be resolved. So I think the tone for season 2 will be totally different and we'll see the versatility of these actors. I think that Lin Pei Yu wants to show 2 sides of love and do 2 different types of show with the same couples. I think she wanted to give everyone something. If you like a more happy, feel good, no drama series you'll have season 1. If you prefer something more serious you'll have season 2. I'm here for both and I'm sure that the final happy ending will taste even better after all the obstacles they'll go through.

Can I say how nice it is to see all people here being happy and satisfied and loving this series so much? I have…
This is a feel good series with such a positive vibe. It's so good to see it also in the fandom. Just people around the world sharing their love for these characters and story.

I think Shu Yi's father did something. It wasn't by accident that they showed that scene with his father. I think…
Exactly. They get along so well and tease each other but then with the skinship it's the icing on the cake. I love DeYi as boyfriends. One of the best skinships I've seen lately. And yes Yu is such an amazing actor and those kisses... help! He might be all shy and cute as himself, but he's so seductive as Shu Yi lol

Nobody talks about THE KISS? I liked that one a lot.
I loved the kiss! It was beautiful and one of the best overall I've watched. Everything from the feeling, the hand placement and embrace, the kiss itself was chief kiss!

Agree with this. With actors without chemistry or good acting skills, this would have been just average due to the rushed writing and editing (I even feel several scenes were left out). But they elevated it due to their chemistry and acting.

No offense at all! I also thought that the writing and editing in the other episodes was better than in this one. I just loved this one because of the cute lovey moments. I love their chemistry.

I agree that it was very rushed, however one thing that they did so well that many other BL fail, was that they kept the chemistry high and made me feel that spark and butterflies even after getting together. Many BL fails on this as soon as the couples get together and many don't look believable as boyfreiends. I loved all their boyfriends moments and seeing them so in love... it was so cute and believable and wow that kiss even surpassed the first one!
Also something that annoys me in some BLs and is a pet peeve of mine is the body language/position when they kiss and boy did they embrace each other and really went all in properly like two men madly in love and attracted to each other. I'll replay the bracelet scene, kiss and every cute scene so much!

Aren't they a good match? I don't care about shipping, never did. But those two would be a great couple in real…
SamYu have so much chemistry and are so compatible. I don't ship real people, but their interactions are so cute and beautiful that it gives butterflies to my stomach!

This episode was so darn cute. I lowkey wish there was some tension before he left to have a cliff hanger for…
We have cliffhanger and tension after the credits.

Come back to wetv next week to give them the official views they deserve.
I didn't tell anyone to wait. I just said that if people don't have vip and will watch ep 6 by other mediums, to come back in a week to rewatch it on wetv to give them the views.

OMG, the scene after the credit left me speechless. Seriously that scene makes me think like one hundred scenario…
I think Shu Yi's dad did something to break them apart. So for some reason Shi De sacrificed himself for Shu Yi's good and never got back together but didn't tell Shu Yi what was going on. It could explain Shu Yi's reaction by seeing him again 5 years later.

I have some speculations, but I think I'll rewatch this episode countless times to calm down my anxiety and keep the butterflies in my stomach lol

Now that I think about it: There is an explanation and this would fit Shi De's character perfectly.
I agree with this, I'm almost sure Shu Yi's father did something. Shi De wouldn't leave Shu Yi if it wasn't something really serious that he thought he was doing the best for Shu Yi.

Okaaaaay ... I have mixed feeling about the last episode. Too many things happened in a very short amount of time.…
I think Shu Yi's father did something. It wasn't by accident that they showed that scene with his father. I think he did something to break them apart and so in 5 years Shi De didn't return/didn't keep his promise. So when Shu Yi finds him again after 5 years he was extremely hurt. And I agree, this felt more like a special episode but I loved all those cute boyfriend moments. I needed that and they delivered it perfectly. I'd just have loved more of the other couple to understand how they got together and hope season 2 explains what happened properly.

Firstly I loved it! I felt like this episode was setting us up for the next season and on that note what the hell…
I really think Shu Yi's dad did something and that's why they never saw each other again in 5 years. When Shu Yi showed up for the slap, it looked like they hadn't seen each other in those 5 years. The ending was confusing because first it was 72 hours and they were madly in love and then suddenly 5 years later the slap. And I think the little bit of Shu Yi's father we saw wasn't an accident.

I enjoyed 5 episodes a lot. But 6th episode doesn't felt like an actual episode. Writing was so clumsy and it…
I needed these plotless cute boyfriends episode so I'm not mad about it. I loved it. I think though they should've developed the other couple more. Also, I think this was a set up for season 2. My theory is that Shu Yi's dad did something that messed with their relationship and Shi De never came back/didn't keep his promise and so 5 years late Shu Yi finds him again and snaps.

Theory about the s2 teaser bellow:
I think Shi De never came back/didn't keep his promise. And I think it was due to something Shu Yi's father did. So when Shu Yi finds him again, he was still so hurt that he slapped him.

Or Shi De came back but never told Shu Yi, due to something Shu Yi's father did. And I think for some reason Shi De thought he was doing the best for Shu Yi by not getting back together with him again. It explains why Shu Yi would be so hurt.
