Title Big Dragon
I'm a bit iffy on the plot but the actors, the acting , the overall feeling and cinematography of the trailer seem very promising. Is the trailer a "final trailer after everything is filmed" or is it one of those promo trailers filmed specially to attract investors and buzz and only now they'll start filming?

I loved the first episode! I was afraid I'd be disappointed like with many Thai BL but no, it looked expensive, the acting was good, the fight scenes were good and the mood was good too. Hope it keeps up or gets even better!

This typical "gay" character is highly frustrating
Is this pre censorship?

*sigh* A freakin' 5 MINUTES scene was deleted and this was the most crucial part of all. Oh well, I still love…
Yes, this scene was very important and should've never been deleted. It was also very beautiful and it made me tear up. Actually one of the best scenes. I feel that there are more deleted scenes and hope they release them.

I only enjoyed the first two episodes. Episode 3 was okay, but the rest was too cheesy, too sappy, too pointless…
I'll watch everything SamYU and I'm not ready to say goodbye to them. They are the cutest and their chemistry is amazing, so I don't even mind watching a whole season of DeYi in love and doing fanservice just because of it lol, but I know what you mean. Part 1 was perfect. This one was a bit choppy and not as well put together. But as I said before, I'm not unbiased in this... I just fell in love with these 2 idiots (both DeYi and SamYU) , and that clouds my judgement. It's an addiction and I need rehab haha
On We Best Love: Fighting Mr. 2nd Apr 9, 2021
Part 1 was flawless in terms of pacing and everything else. I think nothing will top that perfection. I think part 2 wasn't so good in terms of pacing and editing. Maybe they needed longer episodes or to organize the scenes and pacing better. That deleted scene talking about the emails was very necessary but glad they released it. I was also craving for an intense happy love scene between DeYi to contrast the sofa scene and keep that fire sexual tension of the first 3 episodes going but now on a happy note. And I wanted to see the dinner with DeYi and Shu Yi's father but I'm happy the father ended up stop being a moron. After they got back together, all I needed was domestic and in love DeYi. Also I felt that a lot happened off screen with Pei Shou Yi and Zhen Xuan, so it was hard to understand how they got to where they were at the end. Also all that hacked Alpha hacking was a bit pointless and was stealing time from my DeYi fix lol Some things weren't quite well explained about those 5 years, but I don't even mind, all I wanted was my weekly dose of DeYi.

However, I still loved this season and the acting from everyone was flawless and top notch. I loved the cute proposal at the end.

I am not unbiased with this show I say right away, I love this cast with all my heart and they were my happy pill these 3 months. I know a 3rd season is dangerous if they don't plan well what story to tell, but I'm so addicted to DeYI and SamYU that I need more of them and their fire chemistry. Even if a 3rd season is just DeYi/SamYU fanservice I'm here for it.

But things they could explore in a season 3:
- DeYi's families getting together and challenges as a gay couple in a conservative corporative environment (Shu Yi at least). When they're ready and get their shit together and stable, maybe a marriage proposal. I'm a sucker for that.
- More of the Tuna couple. Their engagement and wedding.
- The challenges of Pei Shou Yi and Zhen Xuan as a couple with all those disorders and mental health issues

All in all I'm going to miss this cast so much... it's rare that I get so attached to characters and even more to casts. Happily we still have more cast content planned at least until June. I'm still craving for a SamYU IG live like those ones at home, but I loved the live today too... who am I kidding, I love every time they're together and giggling like idiots lol

I can't believe they cut out that scene where Shu yi was sitting on Shi de's lap and was explaining who's Ashley.…
I cried so much with the deleted scene. It was one of the best DeYi scenes of this season and the best scene from episode 4 and 5. I still can't believe they didn't include it. It was so important!

This only proves that they sacrificed the plot and being coherent just to please people who just want to see guys…
But we didn't have makeout instead of this scene on episode 4. But I'd have preferred this scene instead of the "it doesn't matter" one on the bridge and I'm glad they released this one. I wish the episodes were longer and only focused on DeYi (then a mini series just for the other couple) because it needed more time to fix the inconsistencies and explain some things, even if the explanations don't matter to the characters anymore nor are the focus of it.

I'm almost sure the woman is his step sister, but I still don't understand why Shi De thought he'd lose Shu Yi…
They released an uncut scene where we see that Shi De sent emails telling about Ashley (the stepsister that caused the misunderstanding) and everything that happened, but apparently Shu Yi's dad did something to prevent the emails from coming through.
On We Best Love: Fighting Mr. 2nd Mar 27, 2021
Did Shu Yi and his dad have the confrontation where Shu Yi says he'll leave if his dad doesn't accept before or after his visit to the US? Did the father confiscated his phone before or after his visit to the US? Because on episode 2 when Shu Yi's father is talking to Shi De at the bar, it looks like it was before. But on episode 4 when Bing Wei is telling Shi De what happened, it looks like it was after, which contradicts what the father said (I guess). Also, is the confiscated phone the broken phone that Shu Yi broke and was crying with at the bar? Was he crying at the bar because of the US misunderstanding or was it before that because Shi De wasn't communicating with him?
Because the order of the events changes everything (for me) but it's very confusing to me.

I'm almost sure the woman is his step sister, but I still don't understand why Shi De thought he'd lose Shu Yi…
I agree. I thought Brandon was the stepfather. I know they want to mimic the confusion and non linear nature of miscommunication by keeping us in the dark like shu yi was to make us feel the frustration (the producer said this) but I wish that eventually there was a clear explanation to everything chronologically and with all the details even if that's not as realistic.

I think the woman is either his step sister or his sister's nanny. At least, we knew her name "Ashley".
Could this Troy Cornelous guy be the doctor that prescribed the medicines?
Replying to lolaaaxx Mar 27, 2021
It's the fact that they made that scene with Shide and the woman such a crucial moment and somehow even the catalyst…
I'm almost sure the woman is his step sister, but I still don't understand why Shi De thought he'd lose Shu Yi if he confided in him that his mother had a complicated pregnancy and that him and his step sister had to help take care of his step brother Oscar. Unless Shi De told Shu Yi and Shu Yi knew that's why he stayed longer, it was just that Shu Yi misinterpreted the girl? However even with these plot holes I understand that the series wanted to show how miscommunication and insecurity destroys relationship.

I still liked this episode, but the reason for Shi De not contacting Shou Yi is so dumb. Like okey maybe Shi De…
I think it was dumb of Shi De too, however I think that he thought he had no chances because he thought Shu Yi had broken up with him. Shu Yi's dad said he didn't want him anymore, Shu Yi didn't contact him anymore after the woman and baby misunderstanding and changed numbers. So maybe Shi De thought he had no chances. But still he should've tried to reach Shu Yi to get back together then and not 5 years later due to some silly promise the dad made to keep him away from his son for good.

That's how they make their dirty money.
They're doing a bad job because that event was about the series and the cast was all there to promote the series and do the fansign. Most of the fandom doesn't even care about his private relationship which is a known fact to most of the fans. It was not the place nor the time to ask those types of questions (if there is one) as it was totally out of topic and had nothing to do with the event at hand. Plus, Sam has already answered this type of question several times (there's always a nosy reporter that asks these out of topic intrusive questions at WBL events). I'm glad there's always someone on the team that comes to his aid.

If the script writers follow this then the series will be amazing. How did you hear they were going to re-solve…
Hahaha I know you can't with Shi De. I actually love Shi De and I consider myself a Shi De apologist. But I also love Shu Yi with all my heart, so I'm also a Shu Yi apologist. They can do all the mistakes they want, and I can't find it in my heart to hate any of them. So don't mind me while I have a soft spot for Shi De and excuse his mistakes haha

Yes, the bottom line is that they need to talk!

I want a 1000 seasons of these 2 too. I'm at a point of my DeYi and SamYu obsession that give me a plotless episode or 2 or even more of them just being domestic and doing mundane stuff and I'm eating it all up and asking for more haha
