Title Word of Honor Spoiler
Woah, if this indeed happened then things don`t look good, i hope everyone should indeed stop writing about this…
I'm getting nervous too and I haven't even begun watching. I really hope it can be fully aired. I'd assumed that the full drama was already fully approved before begin airing, no?

I'm a. big Untamed fan but support any drama of the genre and want more dramas like this to come out and be successful. I'll soon begin watching this one as it looks so good. I don't know why some psychos have to ruin everything for everyone. The fact that I fell in love with The Untamed (and the novel too) makes me even more eager to watch and support this one and others that come in the future. I really don't understand people.

My hope is that if the show is cancelled in China due to this mess (hope not, I don't want this for the cast and crew) is that it's still released internationally. Hasn't it happened before with other series? I'm not sure but I think so.

Hey! Yes, it's based on a BL novel called Faraway Wanderers, written by Priest (who also wrote Guardian). So far,…
Thanks. I love the Untamed so I think I'm going to love this one too!

How was Shu Yi being half Japanese relevant to the story? Like I get that he’s half Japanese irl but him just…
How is you being "insert your nationality" relevant to your story? I found it annoying after a while.
How is the other characters being Taiwanese relevant to the story? I found it annoying after a while. (sarcasm)

Some people are bilingual, speak different languages and have accents. Better not leave your area then so you don't get annoyed by it.

I think they just feel sad about parting with the characters as they really got into character and loved the whole…
I would also like to see them in more projects together. Sure, get solo works and develop their acting skills and versatility but also once in a while collab. Their chemistry and friendship is very precious and I'll for sure miss seeing them together when this is over.

I also feel that this work catapulted Sam to international fandom, while before he was a known actor yes, but more known in Taiwan and not as widely known worldwide. Also, I feel like he gets emotional when he sees the love and good reception from fans all around the world. I think he didn't expected and I also feel like he was nervous when he began this project but now sees all the love he's receiving. Acting is his passion and he wants to be a director one day, so I think he takes every role very seriously but as you say feels very indebted to this character and the doors it might open for him. I think neither him or Yu expected this reception and it can be overwhelming. The series might not have a huge fandom here or on twitter (though it's growing), but it's making big waves on Weibo and it has been on the first places of WeTV.

I just hope Sam is alright. He went through his ups and downs in the past (he was very honest about it in interviews in the past) and I hope that he is doing fine whatever it is that might be going on with him. He's always cracking jokes and upbeat, but if he sometimes is more emotional, then who are we to judge it? As I said I just hope he's alright.

It doesn't bother me that they're sad and expressive about it, it's their feelings and they have all the right to feel it and express them. Yes, season 1 is more about the flufiness, but they said that s2 will have a different tone and be more about the emotions. All this crying has happened more related to season 2 and while watching some scenes of it and talking about them. Chi Tian also said that his character impacted him a lot and that it has been hard to depart from it.

Anyways as I said I just hope they are alright. Lots of love was poured into this project and I can understand how it can be hard to depart. Also I don't think it's up to us to judge how the characters impacted them according to the final product. For us it might look fluffy and simple (season 1), but for them for whatever reasons, personal or not, the characters might have had some sort of impact on them that we as viewers don't fully grasp. Or the kind of behind the scenes work to get into the right mindset to express (sometimes without words) some sort of feeling in scenes that might look simple in their final product for us. It's not just showing up and doing sad or happy faces on cue. Or even if the tears was just missing the experience of filming and being on set with all these wonderful people, it's ok too. They're worked hard and really got into their characters. Luckily they're surrounded of each other and supportive with each other in these moments where emotions might come out in the form of tears.

Por dated Sorowit? But isn't Sorowit a minor? I'm on episode 12 now, and hope you're not telling me that the mafia boss who is an adult of a certain age is dating Sorowit who is a minor.

But I agree some of the characters act in ways that make no sense and change out of the blue or react in ways that don't seem to match.

If you want to support the series watch what you can on WeTV and what you can't (if you're not vip) someone else. It's important to support the series with views so that more of the genre are made in the future and compensate the cast and crew for their hard work.

It was good! I enjoyed it for what it was and the mystery/suspense was done well. Tul was amazing, I liked his…
Yes, some of the reactions of the characters don't seem to have the appropriate emotional intensity that they should and end up falling flat. I think Max and Tul's acting was great as usual, but sometimes even them seemed to fall flat on some of their reactions to the scenes (the writing and directing probably causing this). But this was even more blatant with the other characters/actors.
On Manner of Death Feb 26, 2021
I'm almost finishing it. I liked the idea and concept but sometimes the execution is a bit iffy specially on the second half. The investigation of the police makes no sense and is throughly bad, some of the conclusions the characters get to are too fast and out of the blue, some things lack logic explanation or characters suddenly changing with no lead up to make the plot happen, sometimes the characters are so reckless and make things that make no sense (Bun and Tan being a prime example of it) and there were some plot holes. However MaxTul's chemistry is as great as usual and I love how they portray the characters and relationship, though some of their scene seem too out of context within the rest. Maybe all my criticism is because I'm a crime thriller enthusiast and found the "crime related" part very badly executed. Maybe they should've simplified the crime aspect of it so that they wouldn't mess it up and could work the details better. Also some of the camera work seemed inconsistent as if filmed and directed by different people But this was a step in the right direction for BL and they did something new and more mature, so I commend them for that. Hope to see more BL with crime and thriller concepts in the future.

What are you referring to??
There was a screening of s2 and a live today and Sam cried when it was time to say some thank you words and goodbyes to the character and then YU also cried when he saw Sam crying. There was also a part where they said some words and then hugged emotionally.
Replying to Pincolino Feb 26, 2021
Honestly, what's the crying all for? Is the series such a big success? Sam is in the business since years. I love…
I think they just feel sad about parting with the characters as they really got into character and loved the whole experience. I cried a bit too because they all were so emotional. I felt that Sam wasn't in a good place today (just my impression) and that everything was having such an emotional toll on him. And I think Yu cried (he had already cried on the season 1 closing ceremony too) because seeing Sam cry was also making him cry out of empathy.
Also it's not uncommon for actors to cry when they finish a project. I've seen several having these types of reactions before.

Haha! That content was something, though ... I'm still laughing.
I think it was on the same show. Yes, it's about a month later and I also don't know why releasing only now. I hope s2 has lots of promotion too with shows, interviews and lives. Yu has been very busy I think and that's why they haven't done something the past couple weeks but tomorrow they'll reunite again and hope to see more later on.
