Well, I still have high hopes for Manner of Death. But all the other BL series (excepting Gaya Sa Pelikula, Gameboys…
I'm also very excited for Manner of Death. It will be something new in Thai BL. Yeah this year was weak. In addition to those you mentioned, I enjoyed Where Your Eyes Linger (Kdrama). But yes for me the holy trinity for now is ITSAY, GSP and Cherry Magic.
Something that I noticed that happened to me is that in the day of ITSAY (Thursdays) I can't watch anything else as I'm so emotionally drained and invested in the show that I can't focus on other series that day.
Does anyone else feels like this show ruined bl for you? I mean i don't entirely consider this show bl and i don't…
I love cherry magic for different reasons. Also Gaya Sa Pelikula is also on top for me this year. But yeah ITSAY made it harder for me to enjoy the typical "fujoshi thai bl" based on novels written by gay fetichist women.
Agree. And I would have committed suicide a long time ago if I had Teh's mother.
I know she was rightfully upset it was just that this whole time she was just blabbing and blabbing and really not trying to understand what was going on with Teh.
If you can't watch the show on the official mediums (which is perfectly fine, I understand not everyone can afford renting the episodes or wants to) please support the show in one or more other ways: either by informing people of the official way of watching the show (Line TV and vimeo for subtitles), streaming on Line TV with VPN (has no subs but contributes to the views) or reviewing it on MDL or helping it trend on twitter. It's the views, the buzz and the profits that will be an incentive to Nadao to keep doing productions like this and maybe even more ITSAY material with BKPP. Let's give this series the acclaim it deserve and maybe by that inspire other companies to also give us this type of quality production.
He's hoping he can stop having these feelings so he can be "normal".
Exactly. He's in denial with his feelings and what it implies in the context of his family and society. We've seen how he's pressured by his mother, how she puts Hoon above Teh or as an example and how he feels devalued and how she pressured him to bring a girlfriend too. He wants this to pass because it would be easier for everyone in his opinion.
also interesting how the other idiom highlighted in the practice book that teh made for oh was "easy pickings"…
But Aew told his friends he would just give up and work at the resort, hence why Teh did this but I agree, Aew didn't want this. My hope is that Aew decides to do the exam and that both of them pass and run to the sun as promised.
Can someone explain the last scenes on the books am confuse?.
I'll paste my interpretation:
The thing is that though Teh loves Aew, he can't truly love him before he loves and accepts himself. That's the main obstacle to their love at this point. Teh is a tormented boy in pain because he feels like who he truly is inside is a disappointed to his family and society. Unfortunately there's usually collateral damage in these situations and he ends up hurting Aew who has probably already gone through a lot of what Teh is going through now and is ready to love without restraint. But Teh isn't yet because he doesn't love and accept himself yet. You cannot truly love others if you don't love yourself. And I think that's what those ripped pages meant in the end of the episode. Teh gave all his heart but in the end there was nothing for him because he didn't have enough self love and acceptance to give without depleting himself.
Wow you put this into words perfectly and this goes with Aew sending the "more hindrance than help" picture. I…
I know... when I watched I had to stop sometimes to breath and collect myself lol There were some scenes I cried a lot and was so overwhelmed with emotion that it was hard. I think something that hurts even more is the fact that despite if our personal story is similar or not, most of us can see a bit of ourselves in this story in our own way.
Sorry to spam this comment section but I'm so broke by this episode and there's so much to unpack. But talking about the trailer for the next episode it actually gives me a glimmer of hope. Teh is admitting to his brother that he likes Aew. And that's already a big victory regardless of the ending. The fact that he managed to admit to his brother means that he finally has admitted to himself. And only by admitting to himself can he begin accepting. Regardless if Teh ends up with Aew romantically or not, he cannot love Aew or anyone before he goes through this self acceptance.
To love with all your heart, but still end you being more of a hindrance than support! Love is just a raw emotion,…
Wow you put this into words perfectly and this goes with Aew sending the "more hindrance than help" picture. I can't also stop thinking about Tarn telling Aew that he's hurting himself. And in the end there was nothing left for him (the ripped pages on that book) because though he could give Aew his dream by giving his place, he couldn't give Aew what he truly wanted. But to give Aew what he truly wanted and needed, he'd have to love and accept himself first. There is no true love for others without self love first. So many painful lessons in this episode.

I see people on twitter saying Teh doesn't love Aew as much as Aew love shim and that's why he broke his heart. Oh the hell no. Teh loves Aew fully and deeply but he's not ready yet for the reasons I said above.
