The fact that this is not based on a novel and that this is not the typical BL though refreshing it's painful because we have no idea of how it will end!
I just want to tell Teh and Aew that everything will be alright. You're valid and there's nothing wrong with you. You both deserve to be loved and cherished. The heart wants what it wants and one day you two will fully accept yourselves and look back at how much all of this made you grow up. Turn that love back inside so that one day you can love each other or someone else. But start by loving and accepting yourselves. Everything will be alright, even if it doesn't look so right now.

Agree! And then when Tarn said "I can deal with you hurting me, but you're hurting yourself!" it ringed even more true, It was an act in despair and in the middle of his confusion. It was irrational and not glorified by the show as you say. I think that it was not only because he's in love with Aew and wanted him to fulfill his dreams but also because he felt guilty that he hurt Aew in such a way with his confusion that Aew was willing to abandon his dream. I felt so bad for Teh in this episode, because all the confusion about his feelings and sexuality culminated in him doing something so irrational that it can hurt his whole future. Sometimes we turn to self destruction when we can't bare it anymore. We burn everything in sight.
This episode could have been done in a way that we would feel compelled to take a side or even dislike Teh for "messing" with Aew and Tarn's feelings. But instead of that we get drawn into his psyche and can totally feel what he's feeling and empathize with him. I even felt bad for Tarn (and Bas). This is one of the things I love about this series... it's not really about who's right or wrong or taking sides. These are just people living their lives and making mistakes along the way.

Agree! Though episode 3 was perfect for me and I rewatched a lot and will rewatch even more times, this episode took their acting skills even further. When I think it's not possible to go further in quality they do it. I cried with them, I felt like I was feeling everything they were feeling. It gave me goosebumps. Most series in MDL start with high ratings from the fans and then it decreases as episodes go by but ITSAY gets higher ratings and each episode goes further than the previous one in quality. Yes this goes much beyond than BL. This is up to pair with "international cinema". I'm blown away.

This is just my opinion but I think Aew felt hurt because he felt that him being a man would get in his way of being truly loved by the person he loved. After the dinner at Teh's house and feeling rejected because Teh can't accept these feelings, he felt that there was something inherently wrong with himself. That scene with the bra hurt me a lot because it was a depiction of self hate, of feeling like he's not enough and that his homosexuality is such a hindrance for himself and Teh.
As to Teh masturbating I think that it was a moment of trying to sooth the pain and guilt he was feeling (for causing Aew pain and everything else) as some people use masturbation to cope. But more than that I think that he also wanted to test if he felt turned on by a man for real (hence looking at the actor on the wall?).
Correct me if I'm wrong, I'm very curious to read more opinions and interpretations of these scenes.

Teh is not mad for the gloating. Aew found out Teh gave his spot and gets upset and says he'll take the exame/doesn't want to and Teh is mad and calls him stupid. I felt so bad for both Aew and Teh this episode. I can't stop crying. :(

I've never seen such a realistic depiction. This was everything we needed and more. I'm (still) crying a lot due to the episode itself but also due to the representation and how they chose to portray this story. As you say this is more than a BL, much more. This is for sure one of the best dramas I've watched (BL or not).
