Ah.. did not.. never quite noticed him prior. This was my first drama with him in it. Let me check out what Age of Legends is.

Lol. Yea the twist was uh…… a little overboard… I still really enjoyed this season though. Dong Bang Min for me came quite close to Mo Tae Goo…

This series is super amazing… like the acting is phenomenal even from all the supporting cast.... the kid, Chen Ping Ping, the emperor etc…

Wow…. Is this the last season? I’m defo liking the twist… pretty surprising…

Reminds me of The Story of Ming Lan, though not as good in terms of storyline intricacy. Was an easy watch especially the FL whom I wasn’t familiar with prior this series, wouldn’t say I’m a fan of her either. The Mother-in-law character was kinda annoying though, that was the only bad point. Watch a couple of episodes and see if it catches on?

Sorry to say this but Tang Fan is a bit annoying, probably the most whiny first ML I’ve ever came across…. Definitely seems more like a FL…. Can’t concentrate on the drama because of this….

Loved Reunion’s cast…

Amazing, close to being perfect… one of the best dramas I’ve watched… backdrop, props, storyline, editing, acting, casting, pacing, CGI, budget, attention to details…… I wish all the Chinese series had this kinda quality. I noticed the producer of this series also produced Word of Honour. And the Art Director is Han Zhong who also did The Eternal Love of Dream and House of Flying Daggers. :)

Thought it was amazing in the first half; the plot and the strategy were brilliant! The 2nd half almost felt like a different drama, totally not feeling the bandit arc, too much of a focus with no meaningful storyline. I think this is where it lacks compared to Joy Of Life… the whole politics/country stability storyline wasn’t engaging, was just very mediocre. Like all the smartness, intellect, surprise etc went out the window.

This series was really weird for me, can’t pinpoint what was missing… though I must give a shout-out to the production quality and cinematography; top-notch. However, the flow/sub-story lines seem to be lacking, or maybe it was just too long with too many fillers. I just never got “hooked” although it had a very promising start.

I’m so surprised that William Chan can actually act… I wonder if it’s just a coincidence that he can carry this character well…

This is so so good, hooked right from Episode 1. Definitely surprised by the high production quality… caught me off guard as I’m neither a fan of the ML nor FL

This sequel/prequel is so bad…. And a few of the male actors look so similar to the main lead that it is confusing and just visually unappealing…. CGI is also really bad but I just soldiered on, the Tomb Raiders storyline always gets the better of me.
