Interesting… the trailer here is clearly for the drama… similar vibe to the movie but with unknown cast… super curious about the drama for more depth and details on the plot/story.
True that!!! I’m literally watching the last episode now as I type, been hunting for dramas I can binge-watch…..…
It is kinda cliche but there are similarities with this series given how it has all themes, lol. But that one was executed much better and the flow of the story was great.
Ah I have not watched 25,21 but I saw very high ratings… It’s Okay Not to be Okay is still my all time favourite but that’s slightly dated and you might have watched it… Oh I bookmarked Reset too because it has super high ratings but haven’t watched it!

This actually reminded me of What’s wrong with Secretary Kim (I found this really good albeit cliché)… but I’m guessing you’ve watched that? I’m watching Master of My Own now (I also find this really good because it is very logical and realistic given I work in Finance)…. but it’s a C-drama… I haven’t really came across anything this year which is really good… Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha was good. Ghost Doctor was okayyy… I’m watching Our Blues now… that’s ok, would say it’s rather unique…
Shi Ying is amazing… esp in the upcoming episodes.. how I wish I met someone like that in my corporate career.. probably would have gone into investing…
Gong BeiBi does the part justice… never seen her in any other dramas before but she is apparently really famous.
Hmm I finished the drama just today after binge watching for 3~4 days and honestly I really don't understand why…
True that!!! I’m literally watching the last episode now as I type, been hunting for dramas I can binge-watch….. I didn’t sit through the entire 16+ hrs…. I did skip quite a bit… maybe like 25-30%….
Defo don’t think it’s bad at all…. But in a way I think also too many K-drama typical plots were thrown into it such that it didn’t mesh tog very well for the first half… I mean it worked…. But it was still a bit odd somehow… like wasn’t entirely smooth…
Like they had revenge, amnesia, terminal illness then was a mistake, then narcissistic boss thing going on, then childhood trauma etc etc.. almost EVERY theme in the K-drama master-guide was featured here!! Thank goodness the execution and chemistry was solid, otherwise it’d have been a disaster.
Even when this drama has this sad time it's still up lifting. Ning Meng is taking care of herself and getting…
Yea.. think it’s kinda realistic in the sense that he is quite childish, which most guys are esp. when they are young… and even more so for those who achieved success at a young age; they can be jerks though some do change as they age…
I was really touched when shi ying told ning meng about helping her to succeed faster. my mentors told me those…
Oh my gosh…. I teared up too because I went through something similar when I was doing M&A work but nobody told me that!! Lol, but I tell that to all the people I’ve hired esp those that are really young and have potential…
I think in a way the FL is still considered lucky because she has a clearly defined goal/ambition since she graduated… think a lot of people only realise it after maturing/“wasted years”/ have experience, perhaps some never come to discover it in life at all…
The amount of Corporate Finance details, intricacies to the finance world, corporate etiquette etc etc is super spot on + realistic so far... It reminds me of my own journey as a graduate up until thus far…. Extremely impressed as I’ve never seen this in any other Asian series before (well at least none that I recall).
Highly suspect that the author herself was/is in finance…. So many moments were super touching and so real esp for a female Finance graduate assuming one didn’t go to a super prestigious university or have parents/family that are in finance….
I wish I met someone like Shi Ying in my corporate career, what she said is so true…. Wish I realised it when I was younger…
in love is sweet, he was trying to protect but also telling her why he doesn't want her in investment field, but…
Yeap! And I can tell you the backdrop of the story (except the romance bit lol) is all too familiar. It really does happen a lot in corporate… I’m surprised it’s so realistic. I also can understand why she didn’t quit immediately, I didn’t then either… at least not immediately…

Super frustrated, wish I could binge watch this although the schedule is considered great already… Netflix has totally ruined me.
