after watching the end for the second time,what I got was that at the statue they found Ma Chao's name, so since Yi Wan San had already connected to the guy earlier,he invited him out for a hot pot(the transition was a bit abrupt,I agree),and being Mr. smarty-pants that he is, Yi Wan San figured out he was the real murderer. Also this relic seems to be much more powerful than the others, to be able to influence so many people at once into blaming Yi Wan San

I thought I was the only one.At least you had patience for six episodes,at minute 13 of the first episode I felt utterly insulted and so infuriated I wanted to break something. Incredibly idiotic dialogues and situations,terrible CGI,extremely jarring music and background noises,badly done dubbing,and yes,completely miscast actors.I felt bad for both of them. And some people have the nerve to say it's better than Moonlight Mystique, which had so much love and creativity poured into it from everyone involved that it makes this look like a piece of garbage. So thank you for your review.

you should his whole range in Love Is Written in the Stars,so expressive,at one point I just wanted to grab him through the screen ,hug him and never let go :)

I think he wasn't there to see everything that really happened between HongNing and JinXiu and he is interpreting from his point of view,he feels HongNing was betrayed and wants her to have her revenge,he might genuinely want to help her ,but in his own way.

I think the more hateful characters will be the empress and the old white haired guy.They were supposed to not interfere with the reincarnation tribulation and yet they did just that;they keep spewing things like heavenly rules and order,and they are the first to break them,not caring about trampling on the innocent that get in the way.And the whole killing of the demon king in the first place shows they do not care about keeping the balance of the universe as long as they get to name themselves righteous and victorious.

I agree with you,but I have a feeling Hong Ning will not turn into an idiot follower.Since the beginning she told ML about the injustice of some of his heavenly rules,and even as a mortal she still argues for looking at deeds not racial features when deciding if someone is good or evil. And as demon queen I am sure she will restore ballance to the universe.
