I think the more hateful characters will be the empress and the old white haired guy.They were supposed to not interfere with the reincarnation tribulation and yet they did just that;they keep spewing things like heavenly rules and order,and they are the first to break them,not caring about trampling on the innocent that get in the way.And the whole killing of the demon king in the first place shows they do not care about keeping the balance of the universe as long as they get to name themselves righteous and victorious.

I agree with you,but I have a feeling Hong Ning will not turn into an idiot follower.Since the beginning she told ML about the injustice of some of his heavenly rules,and even as a mortal she still argues for looking at deeds not racial features when deciding if someone is good or evil. And as demon queen I am sure she will restore ballance to the universe.

he already had a problem before the trial,it's why the emperor gave him the golden dew,when he gave it to HongNing he harmed himself more,and then he asked the book to allow him to keep his memories agreeing to any punishment,so it might be.

from everyone else's posts here it doesn't look like a love triangle,and so far the only scheming woman was the much hated envoy Apricot who is just a minor nuisance.

Did anyone else notice the empress' small smile when Hong Ning interrupts her from putting the seal on the matriarch?Not to mention the fact that she stops Kunlun from taking Hong Ning away and then exposes the fact that the golden lotus dew is inside Hong Ning. And earlier in the episode she says that it's a love tribulation that cannot be avoided and keeps the whole thing from the emperor. It feels like she was planning everything to make sure the wedding doesn't happen.Could this be a long term plan against the emperor?

I first saw him in Blood of Youth and I actually thought he was going to be the main lead.I only finished it for Ao Rui Peng. After that I lost sight of him for a while. After Moonlight Mystique I went and watched almost all his dramas, he is absolutely fantastic in Love is Written in the Stars, I really liked Hero is Back,Poisoned Love and even Wanru's Journey, but in Beautiful Time with You, even though he is a support character I felt his talent was stellar,he completely stole the show.I can't wait to see his next dramas.

And his waist.Never found a man's waist sexy until I saw him as Fan Yue in Moonlight Mystique.

Not only that.I'm only on the second episode and this feels just...wrong.The dialogues in the first episode felt like they were written by a highschool level student, and the acting is sooo sub-par,which is really strange,because I've seen the main leads' previous dramas,and I know they can act,but here...I guess I can only blame the director...

The fake crying scene is too much,I am dropping this with a score of 1

One and Only, the happier modern one is Forever and Ever
