I am so disappointed that they ruined another drama with awful writing. The leads were great together. Their love story would have been so cute if not for the crazy second half of the story. I hope it's not going to be awful ending as well. I skipped a bunch of episodes only to be more annoyed by the emperor. He is beyond forgivable at this point. I hope they reincarnate him into a mouse in the next lifetime. lol

Thank you for your reply! :) yay! I love Bai Lu in costume dramas so i'm really looking forward to this one. She doesn't have anymore costumes dramas coming up so I really hope this one will exceed our expectations. Fingers crossed!

I heard one of the main actors offended the government so the drama will likely not see the light of day? Damn..I was so looking forward to see Bai Lu and Zhang Ling He. Why the govt has to ruin many of the dramas I like. The role of the actor is quite big so either they have to reshoot or use AI to edit his scenes? Or maybe the government will let him off easy since he's not that famous.

I went to read the summary of this novel and it's too similar in her role in Court Lady. The only thing is that her family will be really poor. Even Joseph's role in Time Flies and You are Here feels similar to his role here. IDK if that's a good or bad thing. I'm just happy to see LYT onscreen. Her last few dramas were a bit disappointing.

I hope they can pace it out better this time as they govt restricted the episodes to be 40. If they keep it at 50 then they'll probably have to split it in two parts. I hate it because it ruins alot of dramas that way. It ruined Court Lady midway because it made no sense with all the edits to keep in line with the rules.

I'm excited for the drama but a bit disappointed with the male lead. I don't hate Joseph but I always found him to be lack luster. I wished they kept Liu Xue Yi. He's more on Li Yi Tong caliber of acting. I want someone who has the acting chops to carry the drama.

Oh well, I hope the drama will do well for her and bring her more fame. Go LYT!

whoa! So that means that they locked her down already! That's awesome! Though i'm not too exited about her pairing with Joseph. He's not a very strong actor. Li Xue Yi would be great. It's too bad he's so underrated. That would have been a great pairing.

I was referring to "Tell No One". Supposedly, it started filming in April? Her name is attached to it but I haven't seen any pics of her at all so who knows if she's really filming. It's only 12 episodes but that still take some time to film right?

We don't know if it's official yet. Casting rumors changes all the time. I don't believe until I see filming pictures. Though i'm very hopeful that LYT is the female lead. Hopefully, the male lead will be on her level of acting as well.

I'm ok if Li Yi Tong lets this one go. I rather she gets Si Ming. She can't do so many in one year anyhow. I do like Ju Jing Yi but I do find her roles to be rather similar after seeing a few of her dramas.

I agree that ZYC just doesn’t look edgy enough. I would love to see Liu Xue Yi from Blood of Youth to star opposite LYT. He’s such a good actor but he’s so underrated. :/ Hope he catches a break soon.

Yay! Li Yi Tong! not joseph! I like him but I don't think he's a superb actor. Chen Zhe Yuan was rumored for this role. Please keep him! He will be so much better with Li Yi Tong! They would look great together! Praying!

Thanks! Li Yi Tong must really like the thriller theme these days. It's like her 3 or 4th drama in this genre. I wish she would do more wuxia or xanxia. :(

MZY is a good actress. I think she paid her dues already for her attitude. She was sort of cancelled many years already. She got some lead roles but the netizens don't seem to give her a chance so at times she's in second lead territory again. We all make mistakes. Acting is not easy and the girl has been working hard all these years so you got give her credit for all the hate she got. She does have the acting chops.

Why are people rating this already when it just started! It's a bit unfair to the drama itself.

Someone said that her filming time with Hero Legends is only a month so maybe she's done already. That drama is male-centered so most likely there will be very little to no romance so her screen time is not a lot.

I'm a bit disappointed as well. Not that I don't like Zheng Ye Cheng but he's in so many dramas already that I want to see a fresh face. I do like the the aura of Deng Wei. That sucks. Now i'm not looking forward to it as much. Zheng Ye Cheng's acting is ok but he has never blown me away with any of his works.

It's probably unlikely but if it does happen that that'll be great. I have a feeling that if season 2 will focus on Chi Lan and Mu Yan. Li Yi Tong will just likely make a guest appearance. The actress that played Chi Lan is just starting to get lead roles now. She has been doing 2nd leads for quite some time. It's too bad that the story isn't more put-together because the production quality is quite good. The fighting scenes were the best I seen. The costumes were unique without being extravagant.

It has to create the kind of hype like Ashes of Love or Starry Love.
