True his acting makes up for it, but kissing scenes would make this drama beyond perfect, its just feel still lack of smth somehow. Though I respect his principle not doing any kissing scene, but he is a professional actor, it can effect the outcome of the film production review. Many ppl would still complain about it and cant give perfect score for this drama. Its inevitable, ppl have their own opinion for even the smallest matter. This drama is almost flawless….. I’m waiting everyday to see the rating hoping it would go up. Love is sweet has higher rating, bcause of those many kiss scenes between bailu n leo.
But honestly this drama is muchhh betterrrr quality then love is sweet.
Easy to say this is the best of bailu’s drama for me n maybe for everyone else. Well I’m waiting for this drama rating to go up, its well deserved.

Perfect and casual similar male character to this one, contract marriage between teacher and student, in modern drama. Similar chemistry and relationship with forever and ever.

It can stand on its own alone, but it bcome an outstanding drama bcause of one n only remedy to heal the pain n closure for their tragic past love story, so for my pov its a must to watch one and only before watching forever and Ever.

He was crown prince liu zi xing, bcause he was in love with shiyi, but he knew shiyi love only zhou shengchen, he got jealous n hate zhou shengchen bcause of his “beautiful bones” so when he took emperor seat, labeled n slandered zhou shengchen as a traitor n ordered him to be deboned as the method of his execution, too painful to watch TT …

They never say love to each other but we can see it through their eyes, gaze, body language, they have very minimal skinship n no kiss at all, but we can feel how deep n suffocating their love is, coz they have to suppress their love for each other thats why no word of love spoken. THATS HOW GOOD their chemistry’s even move us to tears its so touching n moving this drama is a MASTERPIECE!!

I always check comments on mydramalist before I started watching a drama, n watch trailers on youtube too. This drama is a waste for lucy zhao n zheng yecheng, they are both my fave actors. :(

I didnt like li hong yi before, but after watching this now I’m his fan. Which episode r u at now? Honestly I did think of dropping this at certain episode bcause chen hua obsession with qiao bai almost unbearable. Dont give up try to finish it, ignore the story plot, watch it for the ml couple chemistry only, one of the best I’ve seen. Good luck watching it.

This is one of my fave cdrama. Yes the SL may look more handsome than the ML, but the SL here is really boring n unlikeable. Overtime u should find the ML more attractive than the SL. I like it not because of the story plot, this is a very light drama, But the high intensity level of our ML n FL chemistry is really mind blowing. They have 14-15 kisses scenes throughout the drama! Try watch bts love better than immortality on youtube, their interactions really cute n adorable, it helped me survived watching this till the end. I didnt regret watching this drama at all, after I finish it. U can skip FL n SL screen times, they are not really important, I also did the same lol. No this drama is unlike princess agents where the FL spends way more time with the SLfor more than half of the drama n get more screen times than the ML. In this drama gradually FL has more screen times with ML, those 14-15 kisses scenes are the proof lol. Be patient with zhao lusi obsessiveness with xiao bai, I almost cant endure it too, skip those scenes is what I do. The ending is very satisfying n made it all worth it to watch. Its very rare to find this kind of genre drama, I still cant find similar drama to watch.

This is exactly what I meant, u said it very well. So thats why I say the plot is absolutely ridiculously absurd. No wonder the writer is being sued for plagiarism here n there in the plot, coz it just doesnt make any sense. The last thing that I lost my patience was when YY kissed her n said he needs her too, CQ then just left him to go back to YX. CQ never ever betrayed YX but he repays all whose loyal to him by mercilessly killing everyone including YY in the end n become the last man standing alive on the show n said this is his way of loving her, omg what a selfish ungrateful jerk, is this supposed to be the perfect way to end a drama? Is this a new definition of a hero in the eye of the writers n director of this drama? ?‍♀️

I dont think season 2 will be released anyway, which make me even more regret why did I watch it just recently anyway, its already left a sour taste for me. I wont be watching legend of fei also, same reason as u, I cant stand it when the female actress is much more older then the male actors. Princess agent is kinda similar to legend of fuyao, yang mi is much more better actress then zanilla zhao, more likeable for me, the fl n ml have similar characters, but story plot n ending is much more better make more sense then this drama, overall its much more satisfying then this.

Same it took me sometime to complete it, tried my best to bear with it hoping it would get better bcause so many good reviews about it but its destroyed my hope completely until the last 2 episodes I realised what the hell I’m watching, zanilla is so overated, I hate how xing er was a bitch towards yuwen yue. Yup agree is it even real, that there’s a girl as a princess could have the heart to kill her own father over a guy who she knows never loves her back. I also hate female characters who chase the male first n becoming clingy like she doesnt have any shame, the princess is too much, even after being raped on the order of the man she loves, she’s still obsessed with him? I heard season 2 is cancelled because there’s issue with plagiarism with the writing/ novel, well with that kind of story plot, its indeed true, story plot is absurd n messy n stupid. I just finished this like 4-5 days ago, thats why I’m still salty about it lol.

Thats right, I feel so cheated, finally watch this drama because of many many ppl recommendation to watch this drama, what the heck the end supposed to be the climax of a story, the climax is supposed to be the victim, turning into ruthless man, killing, injuring, hurting everyone, not just his mortal enemy but also his loyal friends n the girl who loved him so much more so than her own father, so unrealistically crazily stupid in love with him even though he doesnt love her back so because of what happened to his whole family, he has the right to do all that n make him became the one man standing victoriously in the end while the actual ml died? What kind of drama story is this, smh. Also yan xun supposed to be 2nd ml but in actual get more screen times then the 1st ml? Even worse the fl always got help n rescue by yuwen yue but never realise who actually always there for her until the end, blindly stupidly always by yanxun side until the freaking last episode, only at the last minutes of final episode she realised when he is in danger while thinking trying to rescue her who still blindly believes in yanxun who actually doesnt hesitate to use her n manipulate her from the beginning. This story plot is absurd n crazy, doesnt make a sense, lots of plot holes doesnt get explained, only focusing in yanxun grand plan for revenge. This drama title is supposed to be about her journey or smth, but until the end, I still dont understand anything about her, she’s a bitch towards yuwen yue until almost the very end, only when it was too late she realised who always been there for her, lmao. What a crack drama!

Yes despite the ending, the story plot is deep, the chemistry between the main leads couple is real, if u dont mind tragedy story this one is definetely worth to watch. I dont like sad ending drama, but I didnt regret watching this.

Should list kenny lin as support role instead, n is this drama about chu quao? I dont feel it, it feels more of legend of yan xun! His story is completed n appears to be the winner n the hero in the end. What a waste of my timeeeeee for bloody 58 episodes. Now I’m having difficulty to watch another drama coz afraid of being cheated by overrated drama like this ......
