That's exactly why I never understood his behaviour, since I've never read the novel. they'll probably reveal some of what happened to him during childhood in the next few episodes.

But don't you think it's rather strange that an S-tier Alpha with all his might, like WenLang, who's extremely arrogant and self-centred would never suspect his good old friend of 10 years to have had a crush on him, not even once?! 🤔
Part 2 : ShaoYou fell in love with a lie From the start, Hua had the upper hand in their relationship. He’s charismatic, confident, and knows how to manipulate people. Shao, on the other hand, is trusting and emotionally vulnerable. That imbalance means Hua has almost too much control over the relationship. And Hua doesn’t just lie! he engineers situations to his advantage. That's why it annoyed me so much when he downplayed what he's doing by call it "a few tricks" For me the worst part was exploiting Shao's father’s cancer. That’s not just betrayal, it’s weaponizing Shao’s deepest vulnerabilities. Every moment of “care” Hua shows is overshadowed by the knowledge that he’s pulling strings behind the scenes 😣 Now I understand that Hua genuinely cares about Shao, he didn't hesitate to shield him with his own body during the earthquake. But now that his true nature has been revealed, it makes Shao question every tender moment, was that real or just another performance! By now, Shao is emotionally destroyed. It’s not just the lies, it’s the realization that his love, his trust, and even his sacrifices were built on an illusion. That leaves him not just heartbroken but questioning his own judgment. Staying with Hua at this point would mean compromising his dignity and sanity 😢 If your loved one is stripping you of your safety and autonomy, the healthiest option would be to leave.
My favourite animal is WenLang while he was counting the number of hickeys on GaoTu's neck! 🤭 his face twisting with jealousy was absolutely priceless!
On SWL’s defense, if anything this episode showed me, i saw that the only reason he’s so oblivious until now…
look, I'm very biased towards GaoTu and I just love him to bits. It's not his fault if he was taught since childhood he'll always have to pretend to be beta! Next thing he knows, he fell for this S-tier Alpha who's extremely vocal about his hatred towards omegas! He didn't have a choice but to continue with the charade 😢
This one might make you laugh a little — the way this account used the song had me rolling on the floor 😄https://youtube.com/shorts/-hTPIJj8dLM?si=jWIJQj2HU_OMT-45
I have a question.Do you guys think Wen Lang was also a victim in the scenes of episode 9 or the perpetrator?…
😁 OBJECTION! Your honour, Hua was never a victim of circumstances of what went down in that hotel room. If anything he brought his mating fever upon himself by using targeted pheromones on Shao in public. If we go back to episode 9, that was particularly pointed out by WenLang when ChengYu told him that Hua is going into rut and they both emphasised that he needed to be chained. I would agree though this never would've happened if Hua wasn't attacked by those thugs. Maybe next time use heavier chains 🤔 Also Hua never showed an ounce of remorse in the aftermath so I too find him shady.

I guess we could look at it this way 🤔. both weren't in control of their actions that fateful night. Perhaps WenLang's trust in GaoTu runs deep so it's very tough for him to doubt Gao. But wasn't his behavior strange enough to raise suspicion 🤔. I would at least start keeping an eye on him to find out what he's hiding
it could have been such a good drama without the corporate nonsense and some stuff you pointed out. I applaud…
Personally, I had zero clue what the Omegaverse was before Pit Babe and even there it wasn't very much explained. You could say I walked into this series completely blind and I had to ask a sh*t load of questions to somewhat understand the dynamic. Perhaps the writer wanted to mix a few cliché tropes from the BL world into the Omegaverse, and that was the outcome.

you can't be serious! who would do that?! 😵💫
"Shen WenLang! shut your stupid mouth and have some common sense"
that's like asking for the moon on a stick 🤣🤣
