Yes,TVN/JTBC have had some excellent shows in recent years and some of my faves have been their shows(my first Kdrama was Falling for innocence ,a JTBC show) But,somehow they havent done that well on the fantasy genre recently as per me.Had checked out Ep 1 of Hotel Del Luna and while I liked the world building and visuals ,personally wanted to wait for the show to get over as I had been really burned by how the writers (Hong Sisters) Last show Hwayugi ended Also,somehow the actors in that show have not really clicked with me -the way they have done in this one !
And now just love the Soliloquoy Ost !There are 2 fantasy shows this year that stood out -Angels last mission:Love and this one -both have awesome OSTs. The makers have really spent a lot of time on the music and crafted them well based on the OSTs so far Am now eagerly waiting for the show to end so that the complete OST is released
I think the same! Im not a Rain fan but I really liked the first 2 episodes and look forward where they take us.....
Yes,it should be good as this writer's "Falling for innocence" was my first Kdrama and I had really liked it a lot. Have also liked Rain in all his dramas I have seen so far (Full House,Come Back Mister ,Fugitive Plan B and My Lovely Girl)
Is it me or does the plot not make sense ?Veterinarian tries to separate the blind cellist and the guide dog ?And that is a tragedy ? Reminds me of an Indian movie "The Blue Umbrella" where the most villainous thing the villain did was stealing a young girl's blue umbrella !

He does have some good shows prior to that .A show i especially liked was Kim Soo Ro,an excellent historical drama (saeguk).You can also see Swallow the Sun if you havent already.
Just saw the Ep 1-2 /32 and the story was set up beautifully ! Rain really does well in his dramatic roles.His expressions at the end of ep 2 were awesome. The pairing also looks good.This is an old style Kdrama done right! Am thinking of watching it now as it airs !

Agree with you ! The beauty of this drama is that it stresses on some old style values and doesn't apologize for it. The world building in this show and the characters are people I ended up caring deeply about and how many times does that happen? The ending is beautiful as well. And the OSTs- a superb collection of soothing gems !
Whatever mood you are in ,the OST songs of this drama can make things pleasant for you. Most of the instruments are used so softly,bringing out the lyrics quite well.And the voices of the singers are exquisitely used.Not one weak song ! This is definitely one of the the best Kdrama soundtracks ever and may arguably even be the best!

Try to continue watching it. I have finally completed it after 2 yrs after multiple stops-none due issues with the show. I think the show improves in its second half tremendously and the FL character grows a lot. It is one of the most handsomely shot dramas ever
This show has great potential ! JKH plys the scared artist so well.The devil is plain awesome. The song " The street you left " is on my playlist on loop . I expect the OST to remain one of my faves!
Ep 6/16 brought many reveals- Dr.John did not even have euthanize the kidnapper-he just took the blame of the kidnapper's mother who actually did the killing! And he does have CIPA - Let's see where the show goes -right now everything is up in the air with no predictability as to what will happen next ! The show is turning more into a mystery thriller ,in a good way !

I am guessing the prosecutor had some personal link with the dead boys (relative!) and feels that the kidnapper should have lived and suffered every moment and Dr.Cha spoilt that with Euthnasia On the doubts ,I was still hopeful he didn't have CIPA-explains everything he does but then the male lead may be doomed to die or some other tragic end ! I think the show won't go in that direction
