I feel the same :). It's a perfect blend of a drama that manages to feel both sort of lighthearted and emotionally…
Lot of credit to Lee Se young to make this pairing work-it starts with admiration and respect and she has been really earnest in all of her scenes so far
Just keeps getting better and better. Am now getting doubts if Dr. Cha himself has CIPA (he could operate on himself without anesthesia on Ep 1 ).In Ep 5, The reveal of Prosecutor Son was superb and the last scene where Ji Sung basically warns him off Dr.Kang gave me goosebumps. It would be exciting to watch both of these face off with each other! Too bad I have to wait for the subs till tomorrow but this is one superb ride !The OSTs are also excellent (expected since the PD takes care that each of his dramas has superb music !)
Just saw a portion of Ep 1 and I can feel this is not going to have a happy ending -You can't get 30 years younger in dramaland and not expect to pay the price! The compositions are beautiful,JKH with long wavy hair looks awesome and fits the role
I like how they have kept Dr Yo Han's character ambiguous till Ep 3/16. I think the drama makers are fully utilizing Ji Sung's work on Kill Me Heal Me to present various shades of the same character
Well,it does sound very funny to me-more like a tongue twister. Thanks for pointing out Partners for Justice as was hearing good things about it and I have actually liked the actor (No Min Woo) in an earlier drama,Midas
Right! I know it was a tense situation but the way the actors kept repeating the 0.0000001% possibility phrase it became unintentionally funny. It should have been very difficult for the actors to keep a straight face saying this. One good result is that i now know a lot about Fabry disease after this!
Lot of the dialogue in this i(esp.Dr. Yo Han's lines )is made quite memorable-esp the 0.0000001% possibility (which became funny after a while) and the scene where Dr. Yo Han instructs Dr Kang to always tie her shoe laces as a Doctor will need to run any time to save his/her patient. While they may ne unrealistic, the doctors in Kdramas seem the most energetic of people around -the amount of running Dr.Kang did in the opening 2 eps would have been similar to an action series
Everybody talks about her only in Korean Odyssey but her last role was in the Crowned Clown an she was terrific…
I first saw her in a 4 part mini drama called "Adolescence Medley" .She was playing a schoolgirl in that and looked absolutely natural.Another show I liked her in was "Hit the Top" .Looks like she has risen up the ranks very fast !
My new fave drama ! This drama stands out from many medical shows with a superbly charismatic lead turn by Ji Sung and a very earnest and fresh looking Lee Se Young. Both their characters meet in a crisis situation and help each other out in the best possible way-the set up may not be original but it is very entertaining and well executed The PD has directed many of my faves and I am a BIG Ji Sung fan-this show is the best example of giving a strong actor /star with solid content Will be waiting for this every week now !
Wow!It took 60 eps for them to get married.Must be one of the longest Kdrama courtships ! That aside, the show and some of its characters grew on me.Gang Miri and Han Tae Joo are of course the lead characters but even the Mother (s) ,MiHye ,Ujin ended up growing This should be a star making turn for Hong Jong Hyun as he plays the newbie and the successor roles quite well. Also really like Ki Tae Young-he may have lesser scenes but creates awesome impact in them-I am sold on the MiHye Ujin love story and a lot of credit goes to his depiction of the older guy! This show has a unique Mother daughter relationship, Noona romance (in reverse as well) flirts with incest like tropes and also has a solid love story at the heart of it-old style Kdrama where the heroes/heroines are ready to sacrifice all for their loved ones The only filler part as per me is the Miseon characters family This show ,while not as good as the writers last family drama-Father I'll take care of you ,which had relatively better actors and a strong revenge laden story and more memorable subplots - the show does entertain and gets quite addictive after a while.
I loved this show to a large extent-Superb Ost ,excellent Lee Jong Suk,Great use of the fantasy elements -but something prevented this show from being an absolute fave like I can hear your voice
One of my first few Kdramas and i remember this one fondly.Made me a fan of Ok Taec Yeon (Bong Pal!) and Kim So Hyun .They are superb together and the show even had a spine chilling main villain in form of Kwon Yool The show also had an excellent ending,a major plus for any fantasty drama as per me.

Too bad the drama didn't do its lead actor any good
