This is INTENSE ! Am up to Ep 8 /32 and this looks like a lead pair up straight out of Makjang stories -am getting a feel of the pair up from THE LOOKOUT sometime back in recerse-that didn't end well though and the female lead is NOWHERE a revenge seeking vigilante so far.

Haven't been seeing the recent eps as looked like this will get preempted etc.due to Go Ara's injury..Hmm.Loks like the show is going the way of some other saeguks with a weaker second half.Still,I would still see this through as the PD made one of my fave saeguks-Iljimae

Why does this show not have better ratings ?It is all that a saeguk should be -intense story,good plotting,thrilling action elements , great lead as well as supporting characters..

Have been caught up and have been sitting on the show-looks like the writer came through with the happy ending-a plus in my books anyday

Well, his acting was one of the major reasons for me to stick to this show -he is an old school actor who was right for the role

Well,i did sleep on this and almost missed a very good show. Ratings were quite low and had avoided it earlier -caught it on Netflix finally!
Am at Ep 7 and this has Beautiful cinematography,scenic locales,realistic (mostly) love stories and a high degree of optimism..The leads have a nice chemistry and I ended up liking Lee Yeon Hee all over again (had last liked her this much in Hello schoolgirl movie)
Thw writing is very touching in places -one of the best shows if you want to be free from the tension of extreme cliffhangers and watch it at a relaxed pace.

The Writer's a actually Male and The K2 was actually a superb show as per me..It is one of the best Action thriller Kdramas!

The show has such good OSTs.."Crawling" by HEO is so well sung,produced and has excellent soothing instrumentals..

Have just finished ep 8/32 and this just keeps getting better.After a long time here is a saeguk focused on a superb story of the rise of a King!

This is THE MOST RELEVANT KDRAMA right now , with the Kpop and other scandals

An engrossing watch ! Good movie like production quality -reminds more of Yong Pal than K2 of the writer's works..

Both the dramas aired on SBS.Maybe the
ratings for WYWS didn't reach dizzying heights and SBS created this show as some form of compensation from the actors.. Just a guess..

Very well put..The psychology of this show is very memorable and this is one of those shows that deserved its lengthy episode count. Lee bang Won and Sambong relationship is one of the biggest selling points of the show
