The show had lots of potential but lost some of the edge towards the end..It was a good decision to keep the episode length shorter (by weekend drama standards ) but the story would have fitted a 16 one hour eps show better. Still, lot of good things in it -the acting by leads, the OST (You are .. is a part of my playlist regularly) as well as writing were great.
Had heard a lot about the battle scenes in this movie and it does not disappoint ! It is the middle scenes (non-battle ) which somehow didn't click for me.. All in all, superb spectacle worth witnessing on a very large screen .
People in the comments are saying the drama is really good but the review ratings are kinda mediocre so I dunno…
While not groundbreaking,This show has excellent lead pair chemistry-something i had found missing in many recent shows - Excellent OST as well. You can watch it if you like romcoms where the lead pair spend more than 1-2 episodes together..
This is one show that leaves you with a lot of mixed feelings -the main culprit as per me was the female lead who basically cheated on Daniel Choi with the Male lead and became the female lead..Jung So Min should have been the female lead as per the story !
What a beautiful ending with the last scenes ! Goes to show that sometimes simplicity is all it takes to elevate dramas to high levels..The lead actors were so natural esp in the last 6 eps ,you could forget they were acting ! Exceptional work by the PD and the cinematographer of the show as well..This show is going to be on my repeat watch list definitely. The OST keeps coming to the mind as there are many gems on it and they have been superbly used in important scenes .. One of the best performances of Kim Yoo Jung and a versatile performance by Yoon Kyun Sang-who absolutely rocked in his earlier saeguk roles in SFD and Rebel..
Just checked the PD who had made the show and found he also directed Personal Taste and Who are you (2007) -two of my fave romcoms. Shows why the show is so good!
The final minutes in Ep 13 are nothing like you have seen on Kdramas..It is only Kdramas that can take a sensual scene/situation and make it genuinely heartwarming.-excellent work by the actors and the PD..And the music was perfectly placed..
Had the time to finally catch up with it after some time and post ep 10 the chemistry is just magical ..High points were the Ep 12 in terms of heart felt moments and Ep 13 for the romance.. Kim Yoo Jung is the light of this show and Yoon Kyun Sang is great in his understated role.. BTW really like the OST "Sleep" by Kim Greem..
Just zipped by it in 2 days.Glad I waited before taking it up so as to not have to wait more than a week.Kim So Hye as the female lead starts quite despicable but turns around as the show progresses-and Park Sun Ho is literally the NICEST Male lead ever..Support characters are also on point..Plus the story is also a lot on entrepreneurship and the troubles they face to sustain business.. One of the best put together dramas in recent times and it doesn't even have any A lister stars or PD/Writer here!
