Yes, it's a 1 to 10 rating. I think a few Xianxia did get 7 or 7.5 but can't remember if any drama got a higher score than that. MDL's rating is actually too high for most Cdramas.

You should watch and see. The kissing scenes here are better than other dramas, but we're not going to get "having sex via a kiss" like in american series. Censorship won't allow it.
