Wow this drama is trending @2nd worldwide 😮😮😮😮😮😮 on Netflix
It's easy to watch, and sometimes people just enjoy something like this. Sometimes the best dramas are too heavy and difficult to ingest, while this drama is much easier and light hearted.
I just love how cliche it is :D it's almost comically cliche, and I like that. If they did that and weren't aware…
I'm at episode 29, and it's been getting so much better in the past couple or so episodes. It started a bit silly, but it's so much more matured now, 7.3 rating I am starting to disagree with, maybe 8.0, 8.2.

This is like a family sitcom drama almost, American style. Just need the laughing audience.
I actually quite enjoy watching this, very guilty pleasure, hehe.
It's not bad, but it's not a "great" drama, it's a guilty pleasure and you need to be open to accepting the cliquishness and have fun watching without expectations.
What is with this MDL rating? Below 8? This is a travesty. It's one of my favorite dramas I've watched this year. It's very engaging, very good story and great acting and good production.
IMO it should be in about 8.8 rating.
I disagree very much with the negativity about this series.
One of the best fantasy kdrama's since Arthdal Chronicles.
Many kdramas have some fantasy elements in them, like in the Goblin, that's some fantasy. But to be a true fantasy drama you need a different reality, like Lord of the Rings has a different reality, Game of Thrones as well, Arthdal Chronicles has a different reality, and so does Alchemy of Souls. It's not just enough to add something like a 9 tailed fox into a drama that takes place in "our" reality. So according to that strict definition of "fantasy", there are not many fantasy kdramas out there.
If you're looking for something you can watch with one eye (doing something else as well) this is perfect to have in the background. Likeable characters, simple plot, fluffy and easy and not to complex to watch meaning you can write comments like these on MDL whilst watching (which I am doing).
Not a fan of second+ seasons in K-Dramas. I don't often watch American T.V. Shows for this reason. Especially…
Yea, I kinda like things being wrapped up after one season, a whole story from beginning to end, I dislike having to watch multiple seasons the same drama, I like to move on to a new story, and the artists also want to move on to new projects. I dislike the multi season American approach which Netflix is transposing on kdrama.
I saw that a new season of Arthdale Chronicles is coming in 2024, but with new actors. That's one of the problem with multi-season series, they often lose their main lead actors, making 2nd or 3rd seasons very awkward. American drama series don't have this issue since the culture is different, having multiple seasons means success for them, and you see actors only starring in a single series their entire career. While asian actors like to star in multiple drama series.
Makes me want to rewatch Eternal Love again to remind me xianxia's don't have to become so boring. I'm not being carried by the story, I'm carrying myself to watch it. But anyways, I guess the fish battle royal is gonna take at least 2-3 episodes.
I think they should just follow timeline like a novel. It started with Mortal Arc and slowly reveal their past…
The leads seem more focused on solving other peoples problems, side character problems. Every episode has like a problem they must solve for others. It doesn't develop the overall story at all I feel like.
