I started guardians of dafeng with 0 expectation and legit was like I'll probs drop it (like i drop 99% of the…
Tbh I remember when I started it, I thought it's not my type of show so it will be a decent watch but this caught me my surprise because the more I watched it, the more I was loving it. It's now my favorite
This is the first time that 40 episodes seems so short to me…we definitely need a season 2!
Tbh it's hard to adapt novels fully so I get that this can feel rushed (limited to only 40 episodes) For me, Lighter & princess, Lbfad and when I fly towards you, these 3 were my top 3 but now I love GOTD most
Guys, I was so into the show that I even forgot to eat dinner today (it's midnight here lol) That's what happens when you are obsessed with a show 🤣 Dafeng is worth it
Now I have some questions Is this last ep different from novel? (I don't want novel spoilers but want to know if they tried to deviate from source material) Also is Lord Wei really dead? 😭 Didn't XQA father said he revived him? or he was talking about Xing Huai and his family which XQA saw? I thought he was imagining seeing them happy in afterlife and Lord Wei got revived thanks to witcher guy but then in last minute, when we see Yang ling and the group, they said Lord Wei died so I am confused I usually dislike memory loss & returning to your own world type of endings but the way they did it made me hope that there will be more to it. Hopefully I am not just coping and that is the case because I don't want to say goodbye to Dafeng world And I hope if s2 comes then we will see what actually happened between the timeline we skipped in this last ep and they undo this whole memory loss thing 😭 Ngl but they were cruel by leaving us this way..
Okay I just finished it and I have many thoughts Fistly I want to mention that this might be my favorite cdrama out of few I have watched (I haven't watched many) and this is the only cdrama I am giving 10/10 rating. I have many favorites but some starts slow, some ends badly or we lose interest in last episodes but for me this was perfect package My thoughts on ending & potential s2: Firstly, Dylan crying made me sob. That part was beautifully acted. Secondly, I will be lying if I don't mention this that I was worried with the way ending was going because I was sure that we will have s2 & things were going too fast for my liking so I thought maybe they don't intend for part 2 and just rushing things. However, last 10 minutes kinda made me realize that they are just teasing for s2 because we still have many questions so it's a way to tell us that "be patient, all these things will be answered on s2" I hope that is the case and we do get s2 because there is still many answers left & many things to explore so I will be little disappointed if s2 isn't announced (hopefully next week when it ends for regular watchers)
Last ep to go and I am not ready to say goodbye....There is so many layers to these characters. The shots of them going opposite. Lord Wei reminding him his advice but XQA telling him that they are fundamentally different Wow just wow Honestly XQA reminds me so much of anime protagonist who will stand for justice against all odds kinda like Luffy
I don't think any words will be enough to express what ep 39 made me feel. What an emotional rollercoaster. Idk how I will heal from this ep & if I can even finish the show. This was very emotionally overwhelming. I was angry, I was frustrated but I was also weeping
AGHHHH I wanna scream with that ep 38 ending 😭 THE SQUAD entry and yang yan looking so good omg I am glad I have next 2 episodes and we don't have to wait
"I wanted to live a carefree life, I wanted to take it slow but deceased came every night to haunt me" plss can we go back to comedy and fun times? because I am already emotional 😭
Watching ep 38 and Lin an being distress about the whole situation reminding me why she is perfect match for XQ. People like Grand princess & Lord Wei might be more cunning and patient with their tactics but both XQA & Lin An speak with their hearts and don't care about consequences. Are they naive and not wise? yes however their intentions are pure and wanting good for the people

Never felt this way before towards a cdrama
Tbh last few episodes had so much content that I need a rewatch haha
Also, can you explain what's the deal with emperor and what happened to him at the end. Like why he was afraid of knife?
I thought nothing can beat what lbfad made me feel but this show changed my opinion
That's what happens when you are obsessed with a show 🤣
Dafeng is worth it
But I highly recommend watching till ep 39 still
Luffy is my favorite character too
omg I stan the best actor haha
why I didn't know this 😭
