What is the objective of the story as the ending was going nowhere. I like the humour parts and the 'person' at…
This story is more about XQA journey as a character more than him having any goal or objective to achieve which makes it more unique for me personally. All the things Yang ling lacked in his previous life, he experienced it as XQA. Having a loveable family, a lover, being a guardian and living his life to the fullest without compromising on his ideals and always standing up for justice. And just because he was forgotten doesn't mean it's meaningless. He had it, he had done it and that experience itself is meaningful This is the message I got from this show. Now I still think there is some gaps or unanswered plot points in the story as you said but that will be handled in s2 and last ep was more of a setup or teaser for it. it might feel sudden because they just wanted to end it on cliffhanger but I am sure we will get explanation for few things on next season
As someone who's busy with work on weekdays, this drama has become my go-to refresher on weekends. The comedy,…
Yang is getting the spin off movie of his own and we can see his face on the trailer. About s2, I think it will come considering the drama is doing well in China now after initial backslash. Tencent has made a lot of money from this show and they have already started hinting for s2
It seemed like he was able to roam freely for 6 months after his dad erased everybody's memory of him. Why didn't…
I am not a novel reader but I heard this is different from source material. Something like this happened in novel but it was later on and done differently From what I understood, I think the reason why he didn't make others remember him is because he made a deal with witcher guy. This is just me assuming but I think it's implied that XQA's talk with the witcher guy at the end wasn't like their first time meeting because witcher guy said "I saved Lord wei as equivalent exchange" which means XQA must have asked him to save Lord wei in exchange for not doing anything and even allowing him to take dafeng fortune. That scene at the end was basically the aftermath of their deal after XQA sent the method of extracting souls to bureau to save Lord wei (probably learned from witcher guy due to their deal). They kinda skipped some scenes to give us a cliffhanger ending but if we get s2, I am sure some of this gap in story will be covered
For dramas in general, the lowest ratings are just haters. I wouldn't give any drama a 1 star even if I drop them.…
wang hedi and bai lu both have a lot of haters that's why their dramas are mostly ranked low in douban. TTEOTM which is really popular is rated around 5.6 and wang hedi dramas where he is using his own voice gets criticized a lot and get low ratings in douban even if they are good
1)is there love triangle? if there how much deep it is ?2)when do leads will be together3)is there any breakup?…
This story has slow burn romance which is more in background and main story is centered around ml journey so you won't get much of their moments but the few we have is really sweet
I think competition is very high atm and maybe that's why. it took time for even GOTD to reach 30k heat index on tencent so I thought maybe same will happen with MM considering it started strong as you said but not enough days left now so hard to reach that mark now. Engagement, likes, high viewership on iqiyi app etc will help the heat index from what I know
The avg views per ep of LBFAD is around 100 million so I think it reached that 10k mark early on from what I remember (around 15 ep in). it's probably the most popular xianxia of last 3 years in China
What is off about it? We saw it from the start that XQA is a reckless fool who will act to seek justice no matter…
He decided to take it slow but he was basically forcing himself to not act for the sake of others. However, what happened to Mr zheng was breaking point for him and he couldn't hold himself after that because the burden of not able to act in time and save mr zheng was weighing on him. That's why after the justice is served, he finally breathe a sigh of relief and cried. This actually shows that he is not perfect. He made reasonable mistakes based on his emotions which makes him more human.
okay don’t you guys think the last two episodes was offðŸ˜ðŸ˜ how dare you defy emperor ?? not governor lol…
What is off about it? We saw it from the start that XQA is a reckless fool who will act to seek justice no matter what so he doesn't care about consequences which we can also see in ep 15. That's why he told his family to leave dafeng at the end so even if he dies in the process after defying emperor, his family don't have to bear consequences of his recklessness. I also think he quit guardians so others won't be blamed for his rebellion. He was prepared for anything and that's why we all love him. He is smart & intelligent but when it is about injustice, he will ignore all logic or strategic mindset and will act against injustice
The ending song for the final few episodes was fire. Should have been used earlier for fight scenes imo
I love that song which was used when everyone assemble to defend XQA in ep 40. Should have used that one more imo Edit: wait I just checked and you were talking about the same song I said lol 😂
This is my first drama with D. Wang so I wouldn’t be able to say he’s overacting. I just know I’m loving…
I recommend love between fairy & devil after you watch this. you will be amazed by how different Dylan wang's character is in that show and how well he played that character (his most iconic role)
Many kdramas start airing while the shooting is not done from what I hear. Some like glory or other Netflix kdramas…
You are like me then. Kdramas getting really pale for me. Only enjoyed lovely runner last year. I started watching cdramas 1.5 years ago and only watched like 10-12 shows but I am finding them more refreshing. Even if there are writing flaws, I am not bored and it's at the very least entertaining
