For me Bible with “But this wasn’t the fucking plan” has been replaced by Eliot saying 2 simple words; “Any volunteers?” That just came out of nowhere, yet it has become one of my favorite moments from episode 14.

Seriously what is your problem? Week after week, it’s becoming ridiculous. It’s like you want to cause drama.

Honestly I have some very harsh harsh opinions of the second couple, but I won’t say them out loud. Because what’s the point, it’s not like the comment section becomes fun to read if we all do that! I won’t skip the second couple, even though their storyline doesnt interest me, cause I know the actors still put their heart and soul in these roles. There was seriously somebody in the comment section saying that nobody was throwing shade at the main couple, are they just willfully ignoring those posts.

Because practically every week we got a variation of “main actors are stiff”, “main actors can’t act”, “second couple should be main”, “main leads are boring”, “series got popularity because of second couple”, “I watch only the scenes with the second couple”, etc! And then I’m not even mentioning what people have said about the characters and the double standards.

And every time somebody defends the main lead, the reaction back is “it’s only a opinion”.

Agreed and for weeks most of us have let it go, but at some point our patience also runs out. Every week it’s the same negativity, and 90% of the time the second couple gets praised, while in the same sentence the main couple gets criticized, bullied. And thats doesnt contain to only the characters, it’s the actors themselves too.

Why is that you people constantly pull in the argument but they were promoted as leads, they went with the other two actors on events etc. Yes they did, so? Do you not want them to have equal opportunities as the main couple? Do you not want them on events to have them promoted and get more exposure? Your arguments were valid when the series just started, but we are 11 weeks in. Eleven weeks of seeing them have very few small scenes, why expect more, even now 11 weeks later. Why keep up those expectations when you all have been told multiple times that the novel isnt about them.

The sister have promoted them as leads because they wanted them to get the same opportunity’s as the main lead couple. If you feel so frustrated about the fact that the second couple was promoted as leads, tell that to the sisters. I can tell you they won’t appreciate it, seeing as others already have done that half way through the show. The sisters have done literally everything to give Ocean and Pei En Li the same respect and opportunity’s.

Yes I indeed read the novel, I did around episode 8 or 9. The second couple are not even secondary characters in the novel, they have maybe 3 or so moments together. The main couple has about 73 chapters, with here and there a few parts where SWL storyline is told. After the main couple storyline finishes in chapter 77, the extra chapters begin. About 27 extras, which contains 5 chapters which consist of Hua his written fairy tales, 3 chapters written about peanut. 18 of those extra chapters are only for the second couple, 2 chapters, are shared with the main couple. In the main storyline GT and SWL have 4 chapters that are only for themselves and they start just before the main storyline is finished. The second couple are basically told as a side storyline.

Just because actors get promoted as leads doesn’t necessarily main they get the equivalent of lead screentime, for example WeAre AouBoom were also co-main leads yet they weren’t giving the same screentime. Did you see people complaining week after week, no they just accepted what was given to them. I get that expectations were set based on that, but honestly maybe it’s time to lower those expectations. Otherwise I’m afraid that you’ll be disappointed.

I’m sorry if I sound harsh, I just don’t know how else to explain it.

I seriously question the people who say it couldve benefited the second couple, or the second couple should get more screentime. What exactly would you have wanted to see from the second couple, their storyline is on track with the main couple. GT resigns, leaves (more like runs away) and we don’t see him together with SWL for a long time. So what would you want to see? Nothing can be filled in or added on if it comes to the second couple. Their storyline really only starts after HY and SSY are engaged and pregnant. Pushing up the timeline from the second couple makes the timeline and storylines move all funky and weird.

Next episode according to the novel it’s most likely Sheng finds out he’s pregnant, and cliffhanger will probably be Hua proposing to Sheng. Episode 16 will be answer to proposal, and the pregnancy, maybe birth of Peanut, plus I think some kind of time skip. And ending.

So here’s the thing, every episode is between 4 or 5 chapters in the novel. This last episode was chapter 51 till 56. The storyline of Hua and Sheng ends in chapter 77 (minus 4 chapters which belong to the second couple, so 73 chapters). We have 2 more episodes, and still a couple more moments between the Sheng and Hua. Realistically knowing this, how much more screentime, do you think GT and SWL are still getting. Knowing that Hua and Sheng are the main lead! Probably not a lot!

Can you stop with the whole “nobody is attacking the main couple”, you have either not been paying attention or willfully ignoring it! Becayse there have been so many comments, where people are praising the second couple and in the same sentence absolutely talk down/negatively about the main couple! Do you know how much toxicity is thrown at the main couple on other social platforms from fans of the second couples? Probably not seeing as you vehemently deny that there is anything bad said about them on this page. Fine if you feel so angry, heartbroken and betrayed but what exactly do you expect us to do with that? Go talk to the sisters if you feel like that, some of us are actually trying to enjoy the series! Some of us try to keep the negativity at a down low! And honestly for me, with these complains and negativity, it’s making it very hard to even like the second couple!

There were fake explicit photos, voice messages and other things shared on various social platforms. Eliot together with Kipuka went to the police yesterday and shortly after NJ offered a reward for the person who knows more and shares that infomation with the police. I honestly have seen very few BL series pages use the spoiler tag. Only times I see it used is if something personal gets shared. I’ve seen a lot of people use the notion “if you don’t want to get spoiled, stay out of the comment section, especially when it’s an ongoing series”.

Rumors on X are saying the series was supposed to have 20 to 24 episodes. So far I havent found the original source.

Agreed, I could never honestly. The second couple don’t interest me, but I still watch them. Their storyline is not connecting with me, but i know the actors put their heart and souls in these roles. I respect the actors, so I watch the episodes completely, without skipping!

I didn’t mind that I didnt see the scene. Hearing SSY asking for help from HY because he can’t stand up, is more then enough confirmation that they had fun. 😉 The orchid was so breathtaking, just a beautiful moment. I rewatched that scene a couple times before I moved on, only thing that I would’ve loved to see, were HY his purple eyes at that moment.

I haven’t finished Doctor’s Mine, but I agree. Second couple was fun to watch so far and I prefered them to. (mind you I’m behind on so many BL series except Desire😅). I just don’t understand the need to express negativity surrounding a couple. Like I said above I have my opinions about the second couple but I won’t say them here. For multiple reasons but the main reason is because I don’t see the necessity of it. It doesn’t make the comment section very enjoyable to read if we’re complaining every week.
