HY at some point gets hurt protecting Peanut and doesn’t allow anybody to see his wounds, not even Sheng. In the novel it’s explained quite clearly. SWL is more of a business partner, like HY said it’s more they are usable for each other. And Chang Yu was a butler for the family, then became a secretary to HY. SSY is really all that HY has.

Agreed. Gmmtv fans get so defensive when you mention that the quality of Gmmtv has been going down for years now. I have a friend whose Gmmtv crazy, doesn’t matter if a series isnt doing well, they will praise it to the heavens.

Hate to say this, but so far the Vampire BL series that have come out of Thailand have been disappointing (which to me comes closed to the Omegaverse genre). What makes people think that they can pull of a good Omegaverse (let alone a mpreg) series? Thai BL companies have already shown that making remakes isnt their strongest suit.

If you go watch Word of Honor, know that there is a episode 37 or more like a scene. Its like a final scene. A bit of a better ending.

From what i remember, the succession of the Beichao company isnt like normally, the oldest would get it. But succession goes to the person who was most “ruthless”, I think it was mentioned that they had to fight for it or something like that. HY didnt hold back after all the abuse he got from his family members and became as ruthless as his father (who was mafia, dealt in drugs etc).

So his father probably saw that HY had the right “mentality” to handle the business. HY his temperament was icy and unapproachable. His manner of dealing with people was always direct and brutal. I think HY his brother is just jealous and wants the company himself, the same way SSY stepbrother wants the company.

As soon as HY inherited the company, he majorly overhauled the business and turned it completely legit, before under his father it dealt mostly in drugs and other nefarious dealings.

I can’t help but snort and laugh everytime I see that clip, where young Chang Yu tries out “Boss” instead of the “Young master”, because Hua didnt like that title. This animated series (1989 - 2020) is adapted from the original work "The Adventures of Shuke and Beta" by the famous Chinese writer Zheng Yuanjie . It's about two mice best friends who travel the universe together on adventures to protect the world from danger. So basically Sheng is saying Hua came up with an imaginary fairytale character.

Finally a reaction that actually feels what I’m feeling, this was just all around a bad show. My skin itched everytime the Mama/Papa dynamic showed up, it might have been endearing nicknames or whatever, but it made me want to rip my skin of my face. They should’ve never made the second season.

Hell they couldve just given us a 8/10 episode series, where the two couples adopted all those kidnapped kids (for those which they couldnt find their biological parents/family) and gave them a save space to learn and adapt to their powers, while learning how to drive. Instead they gave us a repackaged Temu version of season 1.

It would be nice if those different opinions also not drag one of the couples (usually the main couple) down in the same sentence. It’s fine if people say hey I watch only for X or Y couple, but people become defensive if you drag the other couple down in comparison. I don’t like GT but I won’t say that here in the comment section, I gush about the main couple and WenLang but I won’t drag GT in the same sentence just for comparison. You can’t expect people to respond respectfully, if their favorite is getting completely trampled on by comparison.

This is also the only Live action (so to speak) Omegaverse. It’s not a genre a lot of companies want to touch, if I’m being honest. You’ll find more Omegaverse BL in novels, etc.

As if the second couple has any plot, standard Omegaverse storyline if I ever saw one 😂 oh and there is also one person constantly lying to another (for years and years) in the second couple! I’ll say it again (not like it hasn’t been mentioned in the last 13 weeks!) the second couple storyline barely exist in the novel! Their storyline gets told in the extra chapters, that tells you that they are absolutely not important in the novel! Nong Jian have been kind enough to extent the scenes for the second couple, and added scenes on for them and their fans. The novel is Hua his story, not Gao Tu and WenLang, so ofcourse they are not going to have a lot of scenes. How about being thankful, instead of moaning how absolutely unfair it is that the main couple gets more scenes! (they are the main couple for a reason)

Your explanation of Kang Min reminded me of Ohm from UWMA, Fluke pouring his heart out and there you have emotionless Ohm staring back at him. But yes it hard to feel any sort of love or like from him towards his ML counterpart.

It’s correct that JunSeo who played Da On in Secret Relationship is the staring idol. From videos I’ve seen of him, he’s quite proud of his role in SR. I believe he is also still good friends with the other MLs, sees them sometimes. So it’s not impossible to have Idols shine in BL series but they themselves need to put some effort into it.

I’ve seen BallBoy Tactics I enjoyed watching it, chemistry was indeed good.
