It also doesnt help that we are getting really good and beautiful kisses from a country that has a censorship. At this point South Korea BL industry has no excuses left to give their viewers dead fish kisses (or not even kisses but try to hide it by weird angles), because if a country like China with it censorship can do direct such beautiful kissing scenes, what is stopping South Korea.

Actors who audition for a BL should know and feel comfortable (or at least giving their best) with kissing another guy, if they aren’t, they shouldn’t audition for it.

And him seeing them high five-ing and still thinking they are a couple. What couple does that, he didn’t think for a moment oh they could be friends saying I love you, didnt think maybe his manager is having his friend over for a stay, didnt think maybe they are roommates. He just instantly jumped to they must be lovers. Ridiculous really.

I just started this series, I’m at ep 3, but can somebody explain why multiple adults in Na Ae Jun life, don’t want Na Ae Jun to stand out? Is there a reason they do that?

And with SWL his childhood trauma, his hate towards Omegas is (for me) quite understandable - his reaction and answer on that very generic question, is also predictable for that same reason. I like to think that SWL would’ve been mad at the beginning but wouldn’t have stayed mad. And in the novel the moments he finds out about GT being an Omega and pregnant with his child, he practically moves heaven and earth to find them. GT being an Omega doesnt even matter to SWL anymore. I just wish GT couldve given SWL a chance, but alas.

Mhh I don’t know if it’s the largest toxic fandom, the OhmNanon crowd is also getting there. You can’t say a negative word about BB before you have them mad at you.

From what I remembered, those idiots in his family bullied him relentlessly. Till one of the (step)brothers tore pictures or paintings from Sheng up, I believe that since that day the brother was maimed, and the bullying stopped. I believe that was also the moment the family learned HY was stronger then they thought. The right of succession for the X company (can’t remember the former name) isnt about who was the oldest but who was the strongest, so HY beat all his other 13 siblings. But it has been some time since I read the novel, so my memory is foggy.

Because GT isn’t resigning immediately (though the show does make it seem like that), in the novel GT stays for another month. But SWL being angry and jealous transfers him to the administrative department immediately. How much details do you want about what happens after? And are you sure you want to know?

They didn’t show it that good in the series but in the novel, it is made very clear that HY is stronger and more powerful in everything, his senses are stronger than SSYs, even SSY questions it during the earthquake.

But even with all that, SSY doesnt think HY is anything more than just a S-alpha. SSY is so convinced that he is the one on top of the food chain, that he doesn’t believe Enigmas exist, he literally thinks Enigmas are just an S-alpha meeting a faulty gender detection instrument.

Even if Hua shows it Sheng doesnt believe it. Even with the next couple of moments where HY had to protect SSY, it doesnt cross SSY that HY is anything more than a S-alpha. Only after there is undeniable evidence, does SSY starts to question what HY really is. And even than it takes SSY a while to register and accept it.

Edit; even with the reason why the marking is needed, SSY realizes that the dart filled with cyanide poison, he should’ve been dead but he isnt, thanks to the marking. He has a moment where he goes I can’t even do that, but again doesnt think more of it. In the whole HY being an Enigma, SSY isnt that smart, HY his actions have given SSY more then enough examples, that he isn’t just a S-alpha. But to really think it over SSY needs to accept he isn’t the top of the food chain anymore.

Even if HY tells the truth, SSY doesnt believe in Emigmas, he thinks they are just hyped up by the media. He thinks “Enigmas are just S-alphas who encountered a faulty gender detection instrument. It wasn’t a miracle; it was merely a misdiagnosis - a joke” (direct quote from the translated novel). Sheng only starts believing it after he sees irrefutable evidence, in the form of him getting pregnant.

It’s been quite some time that I read the novel, but I’m pretty sure that the scene from GT with SWL was multiple moments in the novel. GT confronting SWL about not constantly having a negative opinion about Omegas was some chapters earlier, same with GT asking the hypothetical question. But the series is making me doubt that now, can any of the novel readers confirm this.

Sometimes it’s a bit of a search for the right book/translation. I had it with the Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation (The Untamed) novels, tried Wattpad that one was just all wrong. Found it later on a novel app, that translation was the same as the official translation, word for word. In the end I decided to just buy the complete novel set in English.

How is your English? I’ve read a good English translation. But I do agree with you that you shouldn’t need to read the novel to understand or know the series. I do hope that Hua will prove himself in the coming episodes, the series has been following the novel greatly, only added or changed scenes has been about the second couple.
