Right?! I’m so done with all the complaining, from the second couple not having enough screentime, to people continually hating Hua Yong for not telling, lying/manipulating, to talking bad about Shen WenLang, for apparently being too dumb to know that Gao Tu is actually an Omega. To people even making book rapports, about why we shouldn’t be calling this series a masterpiece. I’ll tell you, this comment section might be the most chaotic and unhinged one on MDL!

BTW for those who have said the last couple weeks “well why doesnt Hua Yong not just tell Sheng he’s an Enigma?”, he did today and you could see Sheng his reaction! Me and a lot of others have explained that Sheng only believes Hua is an Enigma when he is faced with undeniable, irrefutable evidence that Hua is indeed an Enigma! He is so convinced that it’s all just a media stunt, a s-Alpha encountering a faulty gender detection instrument, not a miracle, just a misdiagnosis, a joke, that he won’t believe it when he is told.

SWL has two fathers. But from what I’m understanding in this series/novel. couples are only gay if both are alphas, it’s a bit confusing to me.

Nobody is going to beat Toh (Secret Crush on You) his creepiness. That dude pulled stuff from trash cans if Nuea had touched it, sealed food away if it had some significance to Nuea. I still don’t know how I was able to finish that series without throwing up, it wss disgusting.

Shen WenLang’s Omega father Ying Yi, desperate and manipulative, used seduction pheromones to get pregnant by his alpha husband Shen Yu. WenLang once saw his omega father in heat, sobbing and begging WenLang’s alpha father for intimacy, while SY coldly mocked and degraded him.

His parents relationship was never loving, more of a transaction, and how his omega father may have manipulated or altered himself to remain SY’s mate despite poor compatibility.

In a fit of rage, YY shot SY new omega lover publicly in the head, splattering blood on SY. SY handed YY over to the police. 3 days later, YY mysteriously disappeared from prison, leaving only a bloody scene that suggested his death. WenLang was then summoned to his omega’s father funeral.

This memory left a deep scar, shaping WenLang contempt for omegas and his feelings of humiliation.

It also doesnt help that SWL has an omega father who murdered somebody, and that when YY “fled” he left WenLang with his abusive alpha father, who had to endure horrific abuse at the hands of SY

Its probably because of GT his omega scent. He wasn't allowed to use the suppressors anymore according to the doctor. So his Omega scent will be more present.

Ever since I read the novel, I’ve been waiting to hear “Mr Sheng you’re my catnip, my poppy”. But hearing it in the series itself just was so much better. And Sheng giving in to Hua, even initiating the kiss between them was just perfection.

The episodes just become better and better, I’m so going to miss this series when it’s over.

Not just Shampoo and Douchegel but also toilet cleaner. Because nothing says I love you as having your scent be made in a toilet cleaner 😂

Ive become too picky on Thai BL - last Thai BL that I actually finished was Reset - so no you are not the only one. I keep holding out hope that KBL will return to their previous quality BLs, and they can do it, Secret Relationship is prove of that.

Wtf happened to KBL quality? What happened to the quality that gave us Jazz for Two, Cherry Blossoms After Winter, Semantic Error, The Eight Sense? It’s crazy how low the quality has been lately, before you knew when a new KBL was going to air, you were in for a treat. Nowadays it’s a question, bad storyline, bad acting, bad chemistry, bad kisses, bad cinematography, bad music. It makes me sad, only good KBL so far this year has been Secret Relationship.

Hate to say this, but if these Idols want to do BL’s at least commit to it. Don’t give us Dead Fish Kisses, or no kiss at all, but think they can make do with weird angles. It’s 2025 and if a conservative country as China, can give us decent BLs with actors who give decent kissing scenes, KBL can do it too! If actors (and idols) aren’t willing to commit (or do their best), don’t want to be kissed by another guy or feel grossed out by it, don’t audition for BLs!

Only good KBL this year has been Secret Relationship. I couldn’t wait until another episode aired again, sadly KBL is either hit or miss, more often a miss.

It’s not about people can’t accept a straight love story in a BL, it’s because the series was straight washed! There was no straight couple in the webtoon and the straight couple which was supposed to be a second lead couple (which means less screentime) were put in front as the main lead couple. The webtoon was a beautiful coming of age story, with 2 gay couples. It’s a joke to call that a BL!

People are rightfully angry and upset, they marketed it as a BL but then didn’t show it. If you had read the comment section under Heesu on MDL you would no exactly why! People are angry because these beautiful BL stories get picked and then either straight washed or bromanced (High School Return of a Gangster) the crap out of them. There are tons of other novels and webtoons they can pick out of.

Best not react to this person, they made a big fuss when The Prisoner of Beauty came out. Because the FL slapped the ML in like episode 3. They didn’t watch the series, just fragments, they went on and on about the fact that ML became a simp for the FL. Questionable values indeed.

Late reaction, but i do agree. I've tried so many series where BL plays the FL, but after so many episodes I tend to drop the series. I've watched one series of her completely, Only for Love, that was the first series i saw her acting in. After that one i realized, there is something in her acting which i cant connect with. Maybe its how i notice that she is acting, that might sound weird, because that's what actors do. But with most of the c-drama series i watch, actors and actresses make their roles completely their own. For me BL has a certain detachment from the characters, which makes her roles almost all the same. She acts out emotions but those emotions don't ''feel'' convincing. It sounds quite harsh, but I sometimes just wish other actresses had gotten the roles instead of BL.
