Differentiation happens when children are around 8 years old, sometimes younger, sometimes older. In some Omegaverse novels children are around 12-14 when the differation sets in. In the Desire novel it’s was around 8 years old.
But thank you for saying this, I had a hard time with the doctor being all mad and judgmental towards SWL, who he essentially doesn’t know. And it’s not the first time he reacted like that. Its not SWL fault for not being in the loop, GT has kept him in the dark for years.
What exactly is the reason? With or without SWL in GT his life, GT would still be using those suppressants. Learned behavior and all that. SWL has absolutely no clue that GT is in fact an Omega, because GT explains away everything. Hell GT didnt even tell the doctor the truth, about the fact that SWL doesnt even know he’s pregnant. Yet he let the doctor rant on about what a bad alpha father SWL is. How can he be a bad father if he doesn’t even know he’s about to become a father. Yes SWL has a foul mouth and no filter, but honestly he didn’t do much besides that.
How did 50 episodes of the Untamed feel like they flew by, yet I can’t even make it past the 5th episode of The Last Immortal? Which only has 40 episodes.

HY didnt want to do it, but SWL omega father Ying Yu asked it if HY and he couldn’t say no. SWL was suffering from a mate seeking syndrome at the time and had became a danger to himself and to others. HY couldnt help SWL anymore, when YY asked it of him, the omega father had no idea that his husband Seng Yu had become violent towards their son. YY hadnt seen SY since SWL was a teenager. I think HY tries to help where he can when it comes to SWL and GT but SWL doesn’t take HY his advice, until its already to late. But yes SSY will always become first for HY.

HY was being truthful when he said to Sheng that he didn’t have any friends, he has been unapproachable since he was 8 years old! In P-county he was known to be icy, unapproachable. He was known for being ruthless from an early age, that doesn’t make people want to be near him. With his family he couldn’t show weaknesses, weaknesses are a way of taken advantage of. HY at some point gets hurt protecting Peanut and doesn’t allow anybody to see his wounds, not even Sheng. He waves it of that it’s nothing, it’s one of the only times where SSY is actually really furious with HY. HY explains later on that about his family and weaknesses.
In the novel it’s explained quite clearly. SWL is more of a business partner, like HY said it’s more they are usable for each other. And Chang Yu was a butler for the family, then became a secretary to HY. SSY is really all that HY has.

Agreed. Gmmtv fans get so defensive when you mention that the quality of Gmmtv has been going down for years now. I have a friend whose Gmmtv crazy, doesn’t matter if a series isnt doing well, they will praise it to the heavens.
Hate to say this, but so far the Vampire BL series that have come out of Thailand have been disappointing (which to me comes closed to the Omegaverse genre). What makes people think that they can pull of a good Omegaverse (let alone a mpreg) series? Thai BL companies have already shown that making remakes isnt their strongest suit.

But succession goes to the person who was most “ruthless”, I think it was mentioned that they had to fight for it or something like that. HY didnt hold back after all the abuse he got from his family members and became as ruthless as his father (who was mafia, dealt in drugs etc).
So his father probably saw that HY had the right “mentality” to handle the business. HY his temperament was icy and unapproachable. His manner of dealing with people was always direct and brutal. In P-county his reputation for being “scary” was widespread. And that was when he was just 8 years old. When he hadn’t differentiated yet. I think HY his brother is just jealous and wants the company himself, the same way SSY stepbrother wants the company.
As soon as HY inherited the company, he majorly overhauled the business and turned it completely legit, before under his father it dealt mostly in drugs and other nefarious dealings.
I can’t help but snort and laugh everytime I see that clip, where young Chang Yu tries out “Boss” instead of the “Young master”, because Hua didnt like that title. It was a very careful, Boss?… You can practically see him relax and think that one seems alright, let’s go with that one. Absolutely hilarious 😂😂
This animated series (1989 - 2020) is adapted from the original work "The Adventures of Shuke and Beta" by the famous Chinese writer Zheng Yuanjie . Finally a reaction that actually feels what I’m feeling, this was just all around a bad show. My skin itched everytime the Mama/Papa dynamic showed up, it might have been endearing nicknames or whatever, but it made me want to rip my skin of my face. They should’ve never made the second season.
Hell they couldve just given us a 8/10 episode series, where the two couples adopted all those kidnapped kids (for those which they couldnt find their biological parents/family) and gave them a save space to learn and adapt to their powers, while learning how to drive. Instead they gave us a repackaged Temu version of season 1.

It would be nice if those different opinions also not drag one of the couples (usually the main couple) down in the same sentence. It’s fine if people say hey I watch only for X or Y couple, but people become defensive if you drag the other couple down in comparison. I don’t like GT but I won’t say that here in the comment section, I gush about the main couple and WenLang but I won’t drag GT in the same sentence just for comparison. You can’t expect people to respond respectfully, if their favorite is getting completely trampled on by comparison.
