I already know who Eun Ha Won ends up with but honestly I’m at the end of episode 4 and the ML is an asshole. I cannot imagine her ending up with him, I wish she would stand up for herself and put him in his place with his constant negative remarks. I’m really trying to like the SFL but dear god she is making it hard, he broke up with you, so what, move on instead of desperately hanging on.

Edit: the SFL was growing on me and then she pulls another desperate stunt, she becoming more like a stalker. It’s ridiculous really, jumping from one cousin to another.

The earthquake was in chapters 39 till 42, in chapter 45 the permanent marking happens. But in the chapters afterwards Sheng at moments still gets angry but that is quickly smothered by Hua. I was less interested in the second couple, but SWL will really start to miss GT in chapter 66. In chapter 69 (the extra chapters) SWL start to realize he really likes GT. SWL and GT their story is mostly told in the extra chapters. I’ve been reading the novel on chrysanthemumgarden.com, so the order of chapters might be different on Wattpad.

From what I remember no. But HY does give hints and pointers that SWL should do before GT leaves, ofcourse SWL doesnt listen and only after GT had already left, does SWL listen (and after he realizes how he feels about GT). The scene as is shown in this preview with GT and SWL visiting HY doesnt happen in the novel.

Does the FL get any better after episode 1? She got a job offert, she isn’t fired yet. But she keeps complaining, sure I get it’s scary to travel alone for the first time, but damn show some backbone and go for it.

I’ve had this same exact conversation after somebody said that The Abo Desire series would’ve been better if Sheng Shao You was the top, instead of Hua Yong. Some people cannot let go of those (disgusting) stereotypes, no matter how many times you explain it’s all sexual preferences. At this point I live for those series that let go of those stereotypes, like this one for example. Wish that a series would show a vers, because people always only mention a top or bottom, not realizing there is more out there. I could barely finish Pitbabe with their awful mamma/pappa conversations, how about we stop heterosexualizing gay couples.

It does explain why certain negative reviews on the series got so many likes. I was wondering why are 18 or 26 people watching this series if they do not like the series. It’s like week after week. Hadn’t thought of the fact that you can ofcourse create multiple accounts.

I talked about it with a friend yesterday. I think the reason a lot of us are currently only interested in Chinese BL series (maybe some Japanese, Taiwanese and South Korean) is because we have gotten used to the quality of Thai BL, which most of the time is quite lacking.

Chinese BL know, even with a low budget, how to pull great series, good storylines. And put down actual quality, they don’t rely on fans to watch the series because their favorite actors/couple is in it. Which is something most Thai companies who produce BL series are currently doing, at least thats how it feels to me. We knew that as soon as China would step into the BL industry, other countries would lose, China is known for its world building, great storylines, etc.

I read the novel 😉. Sheng doesn’t stay mad at Hua for very long, for one Hua doesnt really let him, he keeps trying to get close to Sheng. He writes letters, apologizes, gives the medicine to Sheng his father without Sheng asking, etc. Sheng puts on a act that he’s mad and doesn’t want to see Hua, doesnt want to read his letters, but Sheng his secretary sees him reading the letters in the evening. Sheng says in the novel that “Hua isnt only good at lying, but he’s also very good at apologizing”. And two at some point Sheng is kidnapped and he’s poisoned, his gland is practically destroyed, which makes certain actions necessary.

Ever since this series has started I blocked more accounts then ever before on MDL, it’s ridiculous. It’s fine if you don’t like the show, each their own. But to come here week after week, complain about not liking the series, hating the actors, calling people who do enjoy the series names. You are just asking for me to block you.

Fully agree. Especially about Gao Tu, I feel more sympathy for Shen. Who yes, has an absolute foul mouth and no filter, but he has also been systematically been lied to by his supposed friend of 10 years. Even if I understand GT his reasoning for lying. Shen is too naive, to trusting and maybe a bit dumb. But with his trauma surrounding omegas and his parents I can understand why he reacts like that.

Nong Jian has said that everything is genuine and no fanservice, now they are still writer and producer, director, so that could be taken with a grain of salt. But I like to think it’s all genuine and just them being very comfortable together.

It’s tame compared to other novels.

At this point people are complaining just to have something complain about. Like seriously, it’s hilarious really.

Totally different subject, we need to remember that we as viewers know more then the characters do.

Would you expect your 10 year old friend to lie about who they are? The friend that you trust completely, who you have been in love with (though unconsciously) for multiple years.

A lot of people in the comment section go, how can WenLang not have it figured out that GT is an omega. Because GT hasn’t given WenLang any reason to doubt him! WenLang comes to GT his house and sees there things he expects to see if his Beta is a relationship with an Omega. GT taking days of to take care of his Omega (who we know doesnt exist) is also not that far fetched. (They have it specified in the work contracts, that they were allowed to take sick days to take care of their partner, I believe). WenLang seeing GT getting affected by the pheromones, is also explained away by GT as Asthma. Sure WenLang questions it at some point, but blames it more on Sheng his over dramatic pheromones, then questioning if something is wrong/different with GT. Might a smarter person have figured it out earlier, maybe?

But even (though I like to think differently) Hua with his heightened senses, doesnt seem to smell that GT is a Omega. If somebody had figured it out earlier, that could’ve meant that they didn’t trust GT or trusted him less.

You can say a lot of things about WenLang, but not being able to trust people, is not one of them.
