I feel like a lot of (BL) series that aren’t out of Thailand (uhum Gmmtv) get automatically downvoted by others, a lot of series lately has it happened to. Secret Lover is good, the chemistry between the main leads is on point, very natural. Their acting is good, not stiff. It deserves to have a higher rating.

I’m glad that you and your girlfriend could talk it over and decided to keep watching. If you ever have questions about Omegaverse, you can always try the comment section. I honestly think the hate towards Heesu was deserved, it was a beautiful coming of age story in the webtoon, but the series is straight washed. I watched return of high school gangster, which I did enjoy, until somebody told me the director is a major homophobe and that was probably the reason why it was turned into a bromance instead of the origanal BL story it was.

I think most people are done with having these beauties BL stories turn into bromance or like Heesu straight up straight washed. There are numerous other novels they can choose from, but decide to take on BL novels and then completely change it.

I think some might misunderstand my comment, I’m not saying I hate Abo Desire, I actually love it. I’m talking about the people bashing the series while knowing it’s an Omegaverse series. I personally don’t like horror stories, so I stay away from anything that might have it in it. If I watch a series and it’s not to my expectations, I drop it, for me it’s easy like that. But apparently there is something like rage watching, people watch a series even though they hate it.

It’s just sad to see a comment section filled with hate and negativity, I’m used to people gushing over episodes, talking about, hey did you notice this, or trying to explain why a character chooses to make certain choices.

Maybe you can tell me, because I don’t have the foggiest idea.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a page with so much hate and negativity on MDL before. And it’s not even constructive criticism anymore, it’s just pure bashing the series at this point. Honestly it’s sad to see!

Yet SWL has also no idea who GT is, because of his extreme lying. But sure go of on the main couple.

If I’m being honest, Gao Tu is my least favorite character, I’m not overly fond of weak characters. He’s the same in the novel, had a hard time getting through those chapters. Even though I understand most of his reasoning behind the choices he makes. For example his father, he could’ve dealt with that a long time ago. But he just doesn’t, he’s got no backbone, he stays in this pitiful position for ever. Hes the same with Shen, and honestly not all of it is Shen his fault. Yes Shen is harsh and can lash out, but he reacts to information he’s given/assumed and Gao Tu never sets him straight. Thats all I will say without giving to much away.

He’s got major commitment issues, thanks to his father (and has frankly very outdated views on Omegas that aren’t “pure”) He’s known to not be attached to the omegas he dates, they are more like bedpartners then actual dates. He’s never marked any of the omegas he dates, not even a temporary mark. He doesn’t know how to love. It gets better explained in the novel.

I loved the racing scene, wished they had shown it. Little Lunatic made toast out of the other racers and left them speechless.

In the novel, the room is pitch blank, so Sheng wouldn’t have been able to see Hua. The team brightened the scene for us as viewers. Sheng is also used to the soft warm orchid Omega scent from Hua. Here Hua is completely in his rut and his true Enigma scent has a cold orchid smell, Sheng isnt familiar with that scent and thus doesn’t recognize it.

That snap of Hua his head, it was just that good. And here is Enigma Hua just being totally unfazed by it all.

Can we talk about the punch of Sheng?

I feel like if Hua wasn’t an Enigma, that punch would’ve knocked the person out. That was one hell of a punch.

Is it so freaking hard to understand that the team brightened it for the viewer? I don’t know how many times it’s already said in this comment section! The room was pitch black, use your imagination. If they had made it pitch black, viewers would’ve complained about not being able to see anything.

Oh yeah I get that. My friends joke that I can only watch certain series when it’s daytime, which isn’t a lie. But yeah I tend to struggle afterwards. I somehow was able to watch the first 2 seasons of supernatural, could get through Tale of the Nine-tailed (which turned out to be less scary). I don’t get invited to Halloween anymore by my friends (I don’t mind it), I tend to scream the entire neighborhood awake while watching horror movies 😂😂

Agreed! It’s the same reason why I won’t watch Khemjira and the next series from PoohPavel. I know I won’t like the series so I’m not even going to give the series a try and then be all negative in the comment section. Not every series has to be watched.

Tale of the Nine-tailed has a season 2, which has much more of a bromance, brotherhood in it, or so I’ve been told, havent started that one myself.
