The Omegaverse differs from the real world morally and ethically because biology often overrides free will. Instincts (heat, rut, bonding) justify behaviors that in real life would have been seen as toxic, abusive, or unethical. Possessiveness, inequality, and coercion are normalized as ''natural'', while in the real world, ethics prioritize consent, autonomy, and equality. In short, you can't apply real life ethics to an Omegaverse!
Im pretty sure Hua can smell it, so I tend to think he knows. Because of him being an Enigma, all of his senses have been hightened, thats why he can also smell Sheng from a distance. Betas don’t have scents, yet in episode 3 or 4, when Shen helped Hua move in that crappy apartment and Gao Tu needs to bring something, Hua mentions Gao Tu has a nice smell or something in that trend. I know that in the novel Hua only finds out after that banquet.

The script has been overhauled as soon as BounPrem joined Gmmtv. Boun wrote it much more vampire focused. Then Tha wanted thr series to be more “commercial” and thus the focus became more on the romantic aspect. The screenwriters went with it. So Boun might have written parts of it, but it’s not completely his anymore.

How he married that girl, then lived in the same apartment, where he used to live with Yuuki, that hurt. How he just could go on, while leaving Yuuki behind, completely heartbroken. I had very mixed feelings about them getting back together. It was definitely a good series.
Because I prefer to watch sex that is almost pornographic, but with consent. There is no argument in the world…
Is that what you are giving criticism? My opening comment was that people should stop complaining about the nc scenes. They won’t change because people don’t like it. You guys pulled the rapes into the conversation, not me. You want to watch series where consenting people have sex, go for it. All I said was that you can’t expect a Chinese BL series to be as explicit as Thai BL.

I absolutely loved, loved, loved The End Of The World With You. Wished I found that one, the moment I started watching BL series, but sadly I only discovered it a couple months back. It was really good. I also really liked Live: Love on the Line. I feel like Japanese is hit or miss, sometimes they have these taboo hitting series, and sometimes it’s just all fluff.

Can you start reading the comment section, I’m not going to explain the details of this series again! Me and multiple others hsve explained it too many times this past week! If you do not get it or a familiar with Omegaverse, then don’t watch it!
Also reducing rape scenes, yeah right. Should I remind you as to what happened in the episode of Doctors Mine? Eye Contact put a whole Stockholm Syndrome behind the rape. But sure they are reducing rape scenes…
Seriously can people stop complaining about the nc scenes, especially the constant comparing with RL, yes there were elaborated nc scenes. Until episode 14 and then everything got either deleted or edited out. Is that what you want to happen with this series? We have had multiple kissing scenes, some touching, and now the latest nc scenes.
Lets be clear, even in normal straight c-drama there is hardly ever shown any nudity. They are showing more than in the straight dramas! Hell Sheng his exposed nude thighs in those shirt-suspenders is more then you would ever see in a straight c-drama! Not to mention Gao Tu his exposed lower back.
You cannot expect Chinese BL to jump straight in and produce a nc scene, the likes of Thai BL. Even countries like Japan and South Korea aren't that explicit, Taiwan tends to show more, but even there its usually one nc scene.
Be grateful that we have companies trying to make a difference! Those who say wait until the censorship ends, do you think this will ever end if people accept the oppression? Oppression tends to only end by rebelling. These companies are trying to change things one BL series at a time! Just be a bit more grateful, maybe lower your expectations a bit, otherwise you get disappointed every time!
And if you want these explicit nc scenes, go watch Thai BL.

Lol, double standards much? How do you think Gao Tu got pregnant?! Or did you watch Shen and Gao Tu their scenes and went oh that looks so consensual, while Gao Tu has tears rolling down their face. If you want to judge this series on human morals (which is laughable honestly, seeing as it’s freaking Omegaverse!) then be fair enough to say that both Sheng as Gao Tu got graped!
Qiu Ding Jie (Sheng Shao You) absolutely stole the spotlight in this episode. 🥺💔 That scene where he cried…
Especially with how his secretary describes it, not allowed to cry, crying is a weakness etc. But for Hua Yong he cried. Loved the silent sobs, while his body shook. People who are saying his acting is stiff or boring are blind!
