With Fangs of Fortune you can probably ship every single cast member with somebody else, It contains hints of straight, GL, BL, Bromance. But I personally really liked the 2 MLs, there have been edits made of a potential love triangle with the third male lead. Never started The Devil Judge.

I absolutely loved Fangs of Fortune, that was a good bromance (I don’t care what other people say). But the ending was one of the roughest out there, all those unnecessary deaths. I miss the great demon, though the series became better after ep 17. The FL was annoying in those first 17 episodes, Thankfully they later focused on the two MLs who just formed such a powerhouse together.

So far I’ve only seen rumors about it, nothing verifiable.

It doesn’t really repel, but it does tend to give of a signal that an omega is “claimed” or “taken”. Either the bite-mark in the neck or the scent (like I said in my previous answer, scents tend to change after marking) gives of that signal.

That being said, it still isn’t a guarantee, marking does tend to deter most Alphas, sometimes there are alphas who might be more dominant or posses stronger pheromones and might still try and pursue the omega.

I do think in Gao Tu his example, Wenlang wouldn’t have much to be afraid of. From what I remember him and Sheng are two of the most powerful alphas out there in the Desire novel. Only Enigmas is more powerful then S-alpha, and so far only Hua is an enigma, who has only eyes for Sheng.

Now in general (outside of desire) I do have read an Omegaverse where the Alpha tried to claim an already claimed Omega unwillingly, that Alpha got sick and got locked up in prison.

I’ve read an Omegaverse where the Omega was so dependent on their Alpha, that as soon as another Alpha came near them, the Omega felt unsafe and would hide.

When it comes to Omegaverse there are so many different stories out there, and every one has a different spin to it.

Depends on the marking and on the story.

Temporary marking creates a temporary bond or a temporary scent marking, it’s usually the Alpha who marks the Omega, these can be broken.

Permanent marking typically is done by both Alpha and Omega, it’ll create a permanent scar and the bite signifies a permanent pairing. The marking creates a biological and emotional bond between the two individuals, influencing their pheromones, instincts and sometimes even their emotional well-being. In some stories it can be broken but it usually comes with a lot of emotional and physical distress.

So short answer, yes and no 😉

But I think MYATB was significant less sexual explicit, we had a kiss here and there but everything else was left out. I think they might have thought it was less explicit, might be that external influences put pressure on it getting pulled. I know there was a rumor going around that WeTV wanted only rights to the series and the author said no to that. Some say that was the reason WeTV pulled it. I know iQIYI had initially also Blue Canvas on Youthful Days, but pulled that after 3/4 episodes, so Gaga bought the rights and later also Viki. So it isn’t the first time this happened. We will probably never know the real reason behind it.

China cannot do anything against the airing of the series, it’s airing internationally, not in China. The Chinese company’s who had it on their streaming platforms have already pulled it. That is as far as the reach goes, now for the actors participating in this series, that might be a different story.

See I’m the complete opposite, I myself have been needing to take medication since I was born. I have been depended upon them and will be dependent upon them in the future, so for me, somebody deliberately taking medication that they don’t need or harming themselves/their body deliberately, is an instant turn-off.

Even though I understand that it’s not as simple as I just said, I know Gao Tu has a major childhood trauma thanks to his mother. And I also know that the father plays a role in it too, I know that having a boss that takes every opportunity to remind you that he doesn’t like Omsgas, doesn’t help with it either. I know that Gao Tu thinks he is protecting himself, people with trauma don’t always think rational.

And even though I know all these things and understand them, I have a hard time getting past the part where he is deliberately harming his own body. For me it doesn’t make the series bad, I know that this is a me problem. I realize that if I wasn’t sick and was healthy, I probably also would have had a soft spot for Gao Tu. I still enjoy watching Gao Tu, I just can’t connect or relate that well with the character.

I do agree with you that Shen probably also doesnt expect something like this, which makes him realizing it, even more unlikely.

Hua kidnapped 32 ex’s of Sheng just to see what kind of type Sheng falls for, all that just in the first 5 minutes. That should’ve been a major warning right then and there about what’s to come.

I do think Hua knows, he should able to smell it. He can smell Sheng from a distance thanks to him being an Enigma. And yes I agree, maybe he doesn’t even realize it’s possible. Like I said earlier, it’s not like Gao Tu gave him anything to doubt him on. They have known each other for years, you would not expect somebody, you have known for so long, to lie to you.

Also Hua gave him some hint, when they were moving him into that scrappy house in episode 2/3. Hua said something like Gao Tu smells nice. I do agree that Shen is a bit of an idiot, but he also has no reason to be suspicious. He would never guessed that Gao Tu has been lying about his status, so I do understand why he takes the things Gao Tu says on face value.

You could have just kept your opinion based on Gao Tu, but no, you just had to put down Hua in the same sentence! There is a reason the second couple is the second couple. they have hardly any storyline, Nong Jian already added more scenes for the second couple, because the storyline was so flimsy. Instead of being negative, you could just be thankful for that. If the second couple was the main couple, the series would be done after not even 6 episodes. In the novel, the second couple has barely any scenes! If you don't like the main couple, use the fast forward button. I can say all kinds of negative things about the character Gao Tu, but I won't do that. Because even though he is not my favorite, he is for other people! The novel concentrates on Hua and Sheng, Gao Tu and Shen are more of a side story, now I can understand that the trailer might have caused some expectations. But so far, I don't think there has ever been a series that gave the second couple more screening-time, than the main couple. You can always ask Non Jian, like multiple other people already did, not that that is going to chance anything.

Try the Eighth Sense it’s one of the better BL series. Love in the big City (the series) is a LGBTQ series, that has good reviews. Maybe those two are more to your liking, but I find that South Korea BL series tend to be a bit of a hit or miss.
