Same! Just reading this premise and picturing Chae Soo Bin doing it made me smile all on its own.
Fated to Love You with Jang/Jang couple is literally my favorite drama of all time, I was BEYOND hyped for Family, and only made it about 4 or 5 eps in before I had to drop it. I don't think I was entertained by a single moment of those episodes beyond the cute opening credits.
What a toxic SML this drama has! And the way people are rooting for him says a lot about their mentality. If he…
This is literally the central message of this drama. Where something mainstream like Start Up, for example, utterly fails while pandering to the shallow crowd, A Poem A Day succeeds brilliantly by putting a mirror up to that same crowd and asking them to question their biases and what they want from their fiction.
Idk why I'm watching this. I typically hate doormat fl but I can't stop. Allll of her colleagues seem like they…
As difficult as that is to watch at times, it informs why she loves herself enough to walk away from the toxic second lead (who exists as a deconstruction of popular main lead tropes) and chooses the kind and supportive main lead (who exists as a deconstruction of popular second lead tropes).
The way this show flips those tropes on their heads is the best part of the drama and I still haven't really seen it done as well as this anywhere else.
I am 26 I'm women my weight is 105 kg how to lose weight any any give free diet tips I really want to become slim…
Completely not a sarcastic reply: eat less.
I'm serious, and science has already proven this is THE answer. Yes, being more active will help in the short term, but the main culprit for obesity is just taking in too many calories, 100% of the time. Try restricting your diet temporarily (remove high-calorie food types, like dairy) and watch your snacking. A friend of mine lost over 100 lbs just by eating smaller portions at mealtime and removing snacking.
Still haven't seen a more lovable character since Shin Eun Soo's performance here. This whole cast is unbelievable. Sometimes a drama is just a drama, despite everyone doing a great job, but the chemistry among the cast here was on a whole other level. Truly lightning in a bottle, can't ever forget it.
This series is still relevant — even though it was filmed back in 2011, these situations sadly continue to happen…
I think Kim Seon Ho's laughable "scandal" a couple years back showed that there is some outrage fatigue happening and maybe people in general are beginning to gain a little perspective. But the fact is that people are unhappy and many deal with that unhappiness by wanting others to also be unhappy.
The first episode was just awesome! My expectation was so high and I was so excited, but in the end I was disappointed.…
Yes, completely agree! The first episode had me in tears, which almost never happens for me on any first episode. And then that beautiful set up was completely wasted by the 15 eps that followed it.
The biggest lie of the drama is in the cover/poster showing the "4" leads. Especially when they tried…
Great points. You can tell that, after the first episode, this was written pretty cynically. The writers seemed to believe that all the audience would want is pretty Suzy with cute Nam Joo Hyuk and they don't need to write an actually-interesting romance. It undermines the entire show and wastes one of the best first episodes in kdrama history.
