Chemistry between the leads here is FABULOUS, this is definitely a "you" thing. You might not be in the right headspace for this kind of romance.

With you all the way. There were multiple characters here portrayed as either partially or completely psychotic, and I think the one thing this show didn't do well was do justice to those portrayals. There needed to be a deeper dive into the consequences of foisting your unhappiness on others for prolonged periods.

This common negative reaction to the ending is a perfect example of how expectations create half of the experience (sometimes more)

I just have to counteract all this Yoon Sang Hyun slander, his character here is hilarious and also adorable. The stupid fashion and weird grunting are part of the charm and his crush on a younger woman is, yes, kinda cringe but also harmless. Leave him alone.

I still can't believe they managed to make a 16-episode romcom about two good communicators.

Man, I still look back on this one with such fondness. Seriously one of the best kdramas ever made. SSR LSY are both incredible. I still can't believe we got such a great thriller drama with those two as the heroes.

Oh ok! Well, fortunately if you mean Jang Ki Yong he has like a million other dramas, lol. Actually I just saw him as the lead in The Atypical Family, and he was great in that, and that whole drama was surprisingly good.

But yeah, I loved Han Bo Reum here and am sad that all this time later she still hasn't had any good roles.

The plot isn't "about" friendship at all, but themes of camaraderie between multiple men and women are woven throughout.

Episode 3 is when it "clicks"

I agree that the FL disappearing and her chemistry with Manager Kim being left unexplored is basically the biggest sin this show commits. I think it became obvious during production that Lee Jun Ho was taking over the spotlight and the poor FL got shafted in favor of focusing more on him. Weirdly enough, I actually thought he had more chemistry with the FL ha ha. Would have been an intriguing love triangle, but somehow they resisted going that route.

It's non stop laughter. Even my wife, who's super picky about her comedy, was laughing throughout this drama. Like, how are people not dying laughing at the end of ep 1 when he's getting thrown around by thugs but with a huge smile on his face because he just got the job he wanted lol. And the slipping on the ice at the end of ep 2 is a GOAT drama moment ha ha.

I get what you're saying, but there's no sexual relationship here, just two guys learning to like and respect each other despite themselves. It's fun to see a friendship form between two enemies.

It's one of the best parts of the drama
