I feel like that as well. I am in my early 20s and I loved the drama. And they tell you in the first three episodes…
No way, Weightlifting Fairy is still his most impressive role and that was 2016. In fact, that drama even more than this one reminds me that he CAN actually act! He was completely forgettable and uninteresting in The Light in Your Eyes, but also I really hate that drama so I'm probably being pretty subjective on that point lol.
The FL always ordering Ethiopian Yirgacheffe at the coffee shop contributed to my coffee obsession. I came across some of those beans at a specialty food store not long after watching this and they were so delicious that I ended up doing a ton of research into properly brewing coffee at home and am now one of "those coffee people".
Because hating popular things is cool and gets you attention (that said, this show deserves some of its criticism, just not the extreme degree the weird hater reviews express it)
The series is cute but the characters that really pushed me to finish the 12 episodes were the second lead couple.…
OMG they were adorable. I admit, however, that I spent the first half of this drama wondering why Eun Ho and Soo Hyeon weren't already dating. They're both gorgeous, single, get along great and see each other constantly. Not to mention neither of them are each other's boss, lol. There's no way they both haven't thought about becoming romantic like a million times already. Still, that weird invisible barrier between them led to our true pairings, so it works ha ha.
Is it the only drama of 2025 I have seen? Yes, but let's not get bogged down with technicalities. I happily give this a 9/10 and full recommendation to anyone who likes good kdrama.
I think it's time for Let's Eat 4, and bring Lee Soo Kyung back dang it. My life needs more scenes of her eating delicious food for several minutes uninterrupted.
My only complaints are: the lack of romance, I was hoping to watch more of SWJ and CEJ being cute together, and…
There's a scene or two where Lee Sung Kyung is clearly just being her real-life goofy self and they're my favorite scenes. She has so much positive energy and joy to go with her looks, just such a cool person.
Nice drama. Shows that Korea can still do good ones. Shin Sae Kyeong was better in Rookie Historian but still…
Actually SSK was amazing in Rookie Historian AND this, the problem is she was just terribly miscast here. On what planet could SSK ever pass as a man? I have no clue what the casting directors were thinking.
So... thanks Lee Soo Kyung, I guess.

Shout out to Lee Soo Kyung just nailing the whole "vulnerable ice queen" trope perfectly.
