Happy ending for 2 of the 3 couples. Hopeful open ending for the 3rd. Script is being written for a season 2, so it's to be expected.

They've been saying it since it the beginning.... And it's certainly not healthy. But being a mafia story, we all knew it wasn't going to be.

Please mark this as a spoiler. There are a ton of new watchers flooding onto here now that they can binge it. Allow them to be able to get non-spoiler opinions without being accidentally spoiled.

There has to be loose ends for a season 2. We got some hope here. Kim put some of his heart out there with that song. And Chay listened all the way through. And even though he made a move to delete it, he didn't wind up doing it. He also no longer has that blue in his hair and had picked up the guitar again. He's not being as cold. That gives us some solid hope that they'll be okay. In season 2. Because we need plotlines that carry over, and not just Korn's manipulation plot.

1.) If he did not explicitly say he won't be in it, don't try to assume what he means. Alot of actors and fans have been burned by that. That post is a pretty standard post to do at the end of a project. Season 2 would be a different project. So it's completely appropriate.
2.) BeOnCloud hasn't confirmed a season 2, but they do have the writer working on a script.

Definitely. And make no mistake. This is one of the ways that Korn is using to keep Porsche in-check. And by extension, Kinn. Because Kinn has already shown on several occasions that he will follow where ever Porsche goes.

I definitely agree. Perhaps that's why I resonate with Thai series so much. I'm a very character-driven writer and reader myself.

It can be really hard to create a balance between character-driven plotlines and story-driven ones. But i think season 2 would have an easier time than season 1 - because the characters are all really firmly established now.

Yea, this drama didn't focus on plot alot. But that's because it's a character-driven story rather than a plot-driven one. It's pretty evident. All the focus is on the characters, their development, and their relationships/dynamics with other characters. I wouldn't go as far as to say that it's mafia porn though. There's a lot of non-sexual scenes that carried ALOT of weight (and have been hyped on social media and in tribute videos). And there's alot of subtleties throughout that I really enjoyed catching.

You know, with how soap opera-y it was in the end, i wouldn't be surprised if the second season reveals that the "mom" is the mom's sister. She's looking mighty suspicious. And she's not saying anything, as if she's waiting for them to fill her in on all the details she doesn't know - while using amnesia as an excuse. Because from the flashbacks, this chick is COMPLETELY different.

It's completely possible for her to be a sister. The mom was adopted. So no one would really know anything about her bio family. And if Vegas's dad's story has any semblance of truth to it, the already difficult to track adoption records would be even further buried.

Plus Korn's whole "history is written by the victors" spiel. And bringing in a false woman is a PERFECT way to trick Porsche into cooperation. And by extension, Kinn. Afterall, Korn has already spoken about how different Kinn is when in love. And he's seen how emotional Kinn gets when something is uncertain with Porsche. And how willing Kinn is to leave EVERYTHING for Porsche.

They released a statement a while ago that they have the writer working on a script for a sequel. But it's not officially green-lit yet, so we'll see.

Fishy looks familiar, but I can't seem to find her on MDL using the information I got from my photo translator. And she's not tagged on the instagram page like the other actors have been.

For one, what was with the drunk dream time travel? We could've spent that time either at the wedding party or with them reminiscing on high school/their past. And then the photograph changed like we're supposed to believe he actually went back and changed the past? I'm confused.

And then we're supposed to believe that Ze Shou remembers kissing Li Gong back at 18? And Li Gong just rolls with it? Or is that part of the time travel nonsense they hinted at?

Also, all the flashbacks to the events of the show... didn't we do a whole bunch of those in the final episodes? We didn't need so many. They should've picked to do those recaps either in the main series or in the special. Not both.
