In the 3 years ago flashback, we see the FL be surprised and ask her brother "you know [ML]?!" But didn't she…
I feel like he shook off the recognition though? Because didn't he say something like "couldn't be" or something?
I'm confused by your timetable...? Here's what I got: 1.) ML gets sent to FL's dojo because she is pursuing street justice and her brother sent him. He seems to know that she is his friend's sister. He gives her a spiel about being an honorable police officer. She develops a puppy love crush. And if I am remembering the dialogue correctly, she knows that it was her brother who sent him. 2.) FL goes to give a note and lunchbox to ML in front of the station. When asked what she is doing there, she says she is visiting her brother. She then finds out he has a girlfriend and runs away dejected. She meets up with her brother and they walk the opposite way. 3.) FL arrested Mr. Choi. 4.) FL talks to her brother about the Mr Choi arrest and appears to be surprised her brother knows ML. She concocts a plan to appear good in front of ML. 5.) FL and ML have a near miss on the day of her brother's murder. Neither of them see each other. 6.) FL's mother tells ML that they are going abroad in order to distance themselves from this story. 7.) At some point after this, FL becomes Looney and starts stalking ML after he gets out of prison. 8.) ML runs into FL and doesn't recognize her. Mistakes her as someone in love with him. 9.) ML finds out FL is Looney. 10.) ML recognizes the FL is the girl from the dojo. But also appears to shrug it off and he doesnt show indication later that he knows/believes this. Even if he didn't know that the girl from the dojo was his friend's sister at the time of the dojo, by the time of this event, he would have seen enough pictures of young FL and his friend to put two and two together. So he knows dojo girl = friend's sister. He realized that dojo girl and hardheaded cop bear similarities. But he doesn't seem to think it's possible.
Now why weren't there more recent photos of the FL and her brother at the time of his death though? Why such a young photo? Did they not want people to know they are related? In order to be judged independently?
Some people have seemed to miss everything that says that the prosecutor isn't Gopuri. One, the cops were there…
He does seem to like his profession. But I still think he's probably roped into covering for Gopuri. Possibly from one of his previous cases? One that he wasn't able to get justice for and Gopuri did?

We already know that the dojo scene was between her and the ML. Because she is the one who remembered it for us on screen. And the dialogue in that scene said that he came because her brother said she was pursuing street justice. And she was much much younger than this more recent flashback. And it definitely felt like a first encounter.
He doesn't know FL is the sister though because she has grown up and looks very different. Plus, she's supposed to be overseas right now (according to the flashback of him talking to their mother).
In the 3 years ago flashback, we see the FL be surprised and ask her brother "you know [ML]?!" But didn't she already know that? Because he had sent ML to her dojo a few years before that?
Oh wow. That's some serious leading the witness/suspect going on. By both her and the prosecutor. This was their…
I will say though, that the FL does have some sort of awareness though to catch on to Mr. Choi's shift in behavior. Perhaps when she finally lets go of her prejudices, we can see more of that. I would like that.
Well, now we know who ISN'T Gopuri! Lol. Lot's of hints throughout the episode before the final confirmation at…
Some people have seemed to miss everything that says that the prosecutor isn't Gopuri. One, the cops were there 3 years ago almost immediately after the crime. And yet the prosecutor is squeaky clean. Too clean for someone who just committed arson and was in that giant scuffle with the ML.
Two, we see a suspicious person in nurse garb as FL is talking to that prosecutor. That same suspicious "nurse" is later in the same room as the prosecutor to administer that medicine. And we see that the cafe gang saw a look at the nurse's wrist and saw a scar. So unless he created some sort of scar prosthetic, he didn't arrange for someone else to kill him in the room.
Three, when the "nurse" ran off and everyone pursued, the prosecutor showed no indication of running. So he wouldn't have caught up with ML in the staircase to be Gopuri. And in that instance, when ML was pulling at his arm, any scar prosthetic would have been pulled off.
Four, in the epilogue flashback, ML is talking with the prosecutor dude, while a masked man with a scar on his arm is across the street watching them.
Prosecutor is not Gopuri. He's still probably involved though.

Also, we know that Gopuri has seen ML on multiple occasions. So this shaman ruse to lure him out isn't going to go the way they want. Gopuri is totally aware of it, and is going to use it to lure THEM out.

The prosecutor is still suspicious though. Especially since he already knew about the burn scar in the flashback. Maybe the prosecutor handles the stuff in the investigations to cover things up for him? After all, he was working and high enough ranking at the time. Plus he knows exactly how much false evidence to provide. And he is still way too keen. But also didn't seem at all affected at the hospital when they had Gopuri in front of them.
Perhaps, like Mr. Choi, he sees Gopuri as a savior of some sort?
Lol, when the prosecutor wanted to tell the ML his whole career backstory. That was hilarious. All he wanted to do was talk. And ML didn't listen. :( Poor prosecutor.
Oh wow. That's some serious leading the witness/suspect going on. By both her and the prosecutor. This was their chance to catch him in a multitude of lies.
I think most of us are agreeing that it's funny. And we are having fun theorizing. But all the character complaints…
There are a few of us that are theorizing and etc. You just have to scroll or get the timing right.
I'm not seeing too many comments here on the drama's page about funny moments though (i might change that tomorrow with the new episode), but the MDL feeds have quite a few people pointing them out. We love the cafe gang.
