I saw someone mention in the comments of episode 5 the possible references to The Little Prince with the multiple references to the prince (Theo), the fox (Akk), and a rose. And apparently Theo's favorite book that he quotes from might be The Little Prince. This seems to be quite a popular tale in Asia if dramas are any indication. I find that interesting.

They acted in another bl together called "beloved in house: i do"
Yes. That's not what I'm referring to. I'm referring to the character names someone added in the past couple days. Their characters weren't named in the drama yet.
Kuea's not in the wrong here. Kuea has been groomed into adulthood under the idea that he's meant to be with Lian…
They didn't keep it the same. Kuea got the house directly from his other grandfather. And his father is the one who assumed "computer engineering" when Kuea brought up "engineering" in their major conversation in one of the flashbacks. So yea, it seems like the father doesn't know - or at least doesn't know everything.

Exactly! I wrote much the same thing further down in this comment section after watching this episode.
Since Ah Le hadnt even come to terms with his feelings for Amber yet, let alone confess them - there will in all likelihood always be some shred of doubt whether he actually likes Amber for Amber, or likes Amber because of his past identity as Wen-Wen, and using that identity as a filter to view Amber through.
It really worries me how ever since he was told, he kept referring to Amber as Wen-Wen and never as Amber. Even Yu He after finding out primarily used "Amber" (when she wasn't referring to the past or when she wasn't talking to her brother in that pseudo-anonymized way).
I just really really hope that Ah Le sets the record straight with Amber, and understands to at least some degree why it's needed. It's arguably an even tougher road of getting together right now because of this.

It comes in very handy. But considering i had to take a picture of another screen (since Gagaoolala doesn't allow screenshots), it wouldnt do this particular translation unfortunately.
I'm on episode 4 and not really interested so far , does it get better from here, should I continue? Ngl but Theos…
If Theo annoys you now, he'll probably continue to do so and get worse in your eyes.
Personally, i like him. He has major abandonment issues he needs to work through, that fueled the vast majority of his actions - but I didn't find him all-in-all unenjoyable as a character.

I concur with Vixen. At the end of the conversation with her brother, she seems to have come to terms with the fact that Le Chien wouldn't see her that way. And she confirmed it when Le Chien himself said she was a "super good friend" without hesitation. She didn't tell Le Chien because she thought it would give her a chance.
She told Le Chien because she knew it was information that he needed/"deserved" to know. Wen-Wen was a close friend that neither of them were able to move on from. And didn't get closure about. Or even a proper farewell (she was supposed to come back after vacation). Plus Wen-Wen is considered to be Le Chien's first (and perhaps only) love. Now all of this, topped with the fact that Amber said he was satisfied just being close to Le Chien, made her feel like this, in her mind, is what she should do to get Le Chien moving forward, and Amber to not have an "excuse" to hide behind, so that they can be together.
Now all that said. SHE IS STILL VERY MUCH IN THE WRONG. It wasn't her story to tell. And it was a betrayal of trust. And it creates a whole new set of problems.
Translation. Mandarin doesn't use gendered pronouns like English does. So the translator used she/her because they were talking about Wen-Wen - Ambers "female" identity.
In fact, most Asian languages don't use gendered pronouns the same way. So that's something you have to be mindful of when watching dramas - especially as we start getting more trans/intersex/nonbinary/etc characters and stories.
This site is fan contributed. Sometimes people add info based on rumors, hopeful thinking, and incomplete translation (like "[DRAMA NAME] Cast Reveal on [DATE]" --> "Oh, I see a date and the drama title -that must be when it airs").
Chinese dramas spend a lot of time in post-production. So for now, just be patient and keep an eye out for official news. People tend to post official news, trailers, etc. in this comment section.

He started this enchante business to get Akk's attention because he was acting indifferent and annoyed and distant.
He kept the enchante business going after it got out of hand because it kept Akk by his side.
He genuinely played along with each enchante because he thought they cared for him and wanted to het to know him.
He tried to get Akk to make the first move because he was scared Akk would leave him if it was the other way around.
Its why he freaked out about his parents - which was also a shock to him considering how much he idolized his parents love for each other.
Sun and Akk reminding him that his parents can still love him if separated, as well as how much they themselves care for him - was what he needed. And both of them seem very much aware of Theo's abandonment issues and fear of being alone. Thus why Akk apologized for being slow to confess.
I actually really enjoyed this whole series. Could it have ended at episode 8? Sure. But i think episodes 9 and 10 were fitting (and foreshadowed). The subject of these episodes were important but weren't fit for a special episode. And i dont think we woulde liked it drawn out in another season.
Theo's abandonment issues were not going to go away just because he was in a relationship - and that was the root of every action he did in this series.
Note on cinematography in this series: You notice how a lot of shots are done through a mirror? I noticed it a…
I think youre nailing the mirror philosophy pretty well on your own.
I think the mirror imagery is meant to really drive home on some sort of level that this story really is about identities - finding where you fit, and confronting whether those identities/aspects of yourself really fit.
In this most recent episode we see multiple mentions of Ah Le and his desire for things to stay the same - a sentiment that has been mentioned a few times throughout the series. But thats now how life works. You have to grow, and a mirror gives you no choice but to face that growth.
And then we have Amber, who had to shed his old identity and is still faced with the scars and fears associated with that action.
Beyond growth and identity, you could also interpret the mirrors as being cinematographic emphasizers of introspection and loneliness. When the mirrors pop up, it tends to be when theyre alone and with something on their mind - especially things that may make them feel isolated or alone.
Do I understand why she did it? Yes. Is it completely in character for her, and rather expected? Unfortunately, also yes. Does that make me any less disappointed and angry at her for outing Amber to Ah Le on PURPOSE after being explicitly told not to? That's going to be a resounding no from me.
And since Ah Le hadnt even come to terms with his feelings for Amber, let alone confess them - there will in all likelihood always be some shred of doubt whether he actually likes Amber for Amber, or likes Amber because of his past identity as Wen-Wen, and using that identity as a filter to view Amber through.
