That's what I've been saying since it aired! I really don't think it's in her character to do that. And with how explicit it was made that she did not want to marry - I don't think she would do such a thing. Just because a trope exists doesn't mean they have to follow through with every example of it.

Exactly, just because they started an overused subplot/trope that we've been disappointed in with other series, it doesn't mean that they're going to follow the exact lines of other shows who've used it. I've been pleasantly surprised by the team thus far, so I'm not too worried yet. In fact, I would love to see some of the possibilities I've thought of on the screen.

Well Joanna isn't in the intro or outro segments or promotions as potentially part of an endgame couple (like Piggy's girlfriend in the beginning is). So I don't think we really have anything to worry about.

Aek has so much potential that I've even been able to get the image of him as Kla out of my head. Mark really is a good actor - I hope to see him in more stuff.

I can agree. I feel sad that some people haven't even tried to give the other couples a shot (and it's not just this show). I liked all the couples so much in the beginning. They all have their own appeals and obstacles to get around. However, as is the trend, the writers have put in too many overused tropes to add unnecessary drama- so I am currently annoyed with them. It seems like many BL couples don't have as many plots that get in the way, as the whole identity, coming out, and peer pressure plots make up the bulk of their troubles usually. Sometimes simpler is better (at least for me anyway - I like to enjoy the moment instead of worrying about what shoe is going to drop and how permanent it will be).

There was already the standard love triangle in the beginning with him. And there's already enough potential drama as she figures out how to change her image of him, they figure out how to be a couple, winning over her mom, and figuring out the whole match score/percentage thing. They really did not need to bring the ex husband in at all. Now I'm just annoyed with her.

I don't think it's that out of character. She couldn't decide anything in her consultation either. It seems like she's super repressed and is doing anything she can to postpone, ruin, or otherwise hinder these dates that her family is very clearly setting her up on via the dating program.

It's possible she is tricking Mark because she knows he's the type who would stick around (in stark contrast to every other guy she's been with). It also might be a possibility that they have a non-typical family dynamic with Mark and Ou Wen together (not married to Joanna) and a part of the baby's life.
