I mean, it reportedly held a filming launch ceremony (in 2020) and the actors received intense training on historical customs (2019) - so it's "real." Is it going to air? No one seems to know (as hardly anyone ever does when it comes to cdramas). There's a rumor I came across saying they ran out of funding - but who knows if that's true or if that's a permanent situation.
