It's hard being someone's secret. It's also hard to have to keep who you are and who you love a secret. I think it's a privilege to be able to say "just cut out people in your lives who won't accept you" or "if they truly loved you, they would be open and proud about it." But those statements do seem to forget just how hateful and even violent the world can be, and how complicated our social ties are - especially in other cultures/countries.
This is another one of those dramas that prove how subjective actor chemistry is.
To me, I think they have pretty good chemistry. Because to me chemistry is defined mostly by how they look at each other. To people who define chemistry by skinship and how good the NC scenes are, they have good chemistry.
But I suppose if you're the type of person to define chemistry by casual skinship/touching, by body language, or by complementary appearances - yea, their chemistry is probably lacking.

I rarely like the english titles, let alone the most hyped English titles. They don't tend to show any thought or originality - which leads to many dramas in the same year, and even same quarter, with nearly the same English titles.
