never had high hopes but so far it is good. 2 episode didn't dissapoint. Chem as always good. other aspects are…
Yea, it's best not to have high hopes when it comes to Mandee productions. But i'd say that the writing for this one has been more consistent than previous series. It's missing something, but the chemistry, acting, and a few teased plot elements have me intrigued.
Uea over here giving out sorrys and thank yous like halloween candy ðŸ˜
People like to say that the appeal of enemies-to-lovers is the notion that someone can fall/be in love with you while you are at your worst. This isn't enemies-to-lovers, but I dare say that it's the same situation. King is attuned to the fact that Uea is far more sensitive and distressed than he is pretending to be, and is trying desperately to bring back some of Uea's typical fire.
Also, it wasn't stated, but I just know that Uea's wariness of being tested is because of his mother.
I'm loving the characters, dynamic, and tension. And I can see where several plot conflicts/tensions will be coming in. But I still feel like something's missing. Also, the OST isnt doing anything for me; am I the only one?
ashdlkahjsdkajsd Too adorable for words. I love that it stayed overall fluffy the whole way through. It had me worried for a little bit there - i was waiting for the shoe to drop. And that shoe turned out to be a fluffy slipper. 🥰
Gemini and Fourth are definitely taking GMMTV by storm and I am so eager to see how they grow as actors. Tinn and Gun stole my heart and didn't let it go. Tiwson is best boy, end of story. Still can't believe that Sound was played by the same actor who played Sean in Star in my Mind. Some thoroughly enjoyable and understandable parents as well. Overall, an excellent cast and collection of characters.
My only fear with that fake kiss is that tomorrow we're expecting MSP to end with a real kiss, and I'm now afraid…
Oh you'd be surprised. I see it everywhere nowadays. There's a lot of haters saying high school characters or actors shouldn't be kissing on TV. And that any adults that are watching high school actors or characters kiss on TV are perverts. It's very much a thing apparently. (There's even a couple people in this comment section who seem to share that perspective).
I have no problem with it. High schoolers kiss. The actors are doing a job. And why are we making everything out to be sexual. These are stories not p*rn.
And I also have no problem with having implied kisses, as long as they are done well. Dead kisses are what I have problem with, because they kill the built up chemistry so fast. But MSP needs a kiss of some sort considering how much its being teased.
yep even though they r not biologically related, accroding to my opinion love line btw them wouldn't look good…
And that's totally up to you. But it seems like you were saying they weren't step-siblings, and then proceeded to define how they are step-siblings. I was confused about the point you were trying to make.
By definition of step-siblings though, it means that at least one of them was born before the present relationship. I think you're confusing step-sibling with half-sibling. Step siblings are not biologically related.
^-^ Well thanks for clicking and telling me about Boyband having it.
Thailand highly favors central/standard/Bangkok Thai. In fact, they used to enforce it. It's what's used in schools, in the workplace, and of course in media. Visibility is just recently starting to increase again with the dialects, but they still have a lot of stigma. Like Isan is heavily associated with the working class and service workers (it's also associated with Laos, which has its own problems). But it tends to see more attention than other non-central dialects because of the region's cultural impact on Thailand.
While I watched My Engineer first on this list, upon really getting into Thai dramas consistently, i didn't notice that there was a scene with Isan (and it's very brief). My first experience really registering Isan was Siew Sum Noi, where both of the MLs speak it natively and it gets quite a bit of attention. Love Mechanics also shows a considerable amount of it, as Vee and his family are from there (it was fun watching Mark having to consciously navigate conversations in Isan).
I'm learning Thai, so the dialects in general are naturally of interest to me. But I'm really fond of the qualities of Isan in particular. It's sooo much easier for me to speak than standard/central Thai. So I'm working on collecting resources on Isan so that I can start learning that after or alongside my central Thai.
But also, while I was learning about it, I came to really resonate with some of the social and historical connotations of it as well. It seems to bear some similarity in a lot of regards to the dialect that I grew up around. So it seems extra fitting for me to work on learning it.
Would've been more interesting (and representative) if there were more votes.
I get what youre saying, but it was getting spread around feeds on a semi-regular basis during the voting period. So it wasnt from lack of trying.
It’s possible that it kept getting buried underneath the other end-of-year challenges, posts, and recaps that were going on in feeds. Plus feeds only features a particular amount of the MDL users. So a lot of faxtors were probably acting against a larger polling size.
This picture was posted in promotion for the movie, before season 2 was announced.
No idea anymore. They blind-sided us with this season 2. So im not sure what the difference is supposed to be between season 2 and the movie. Guess we’ll find out soon lol.
But it seems like the events of season 2 will be covered in the movie. So the question becomes, is that all the movie is about? Or will the movie go over season 2 and then beyond?

But uncut is on IQIYI and GagaOOlala (on GagaOOlala as bonus scene, rather than part of the episode)

I need a hug. And a new comfort drama.

With how much kisses are being teased in MSP, i'm feeling pretty confident that we'll see a kiss.
And it's possible that the fake kiss here is so that we get the full effect of a real kiss tomorrow, in a drama where they're the mains.
Or, who knows, perhaps GMMTV has listened to all the haters saying it's gross to see high schoolers kissing. But I doubt it.
