Why is the mistress still on the husband house. It she trying to replace the wife and trying to be a mom to the…
She likes the husband and maybe feels responsible for mum's disappearance. And... Secrets. The rich dad doesn't know about the connections among the poor family... you know, Parasite. I love they made the joke themselves in the script!
Thanks, I see what you mean. Btw how are you measuring Viki views, number of ratings? Seems fair enough - I think TB used to be fully free to view, it seems disproportionately high! Secretary Kim too... they're both shows that always appear on the Viki home page...
I think your use of 'huge' in your final 2 paragraphs is hyperbolic. The ratings are standard. The buzz was normal - media attention was above average, not sure why it worked out like that, friends in high places maybe.
Your views are a bit typical of SNS followers. A few people get together on social media and think they're ready to take on the world... when it comes to see who turns out for the revolution it's usually a disappointment in both quality and quantity - the sad reality.
Regarding Moon Ga-young, she's transcendent in The Interest of Love. It's her best performance to date. Sounds like you haven't watched it yet.
I see, so it's trending because it's new. That small detail is missing from the article and your reply - it's not due to The Interest of Love then, my bad for suggesting that. It's not due to fan bases either, by your own admission: "of course it will trend now, not three months back".
I'm getting curious about Agency, you write a lot about it but most of us can't watch it! From the ratings it looks like a winner, hopefully it'll get picked up after it finishes.
I only said it's possible. Do you know where it ranked 3 months ago? It's just that I read elsewhere it was 'trending'. Regardless of that, where does a 'fan base' come from? Don't you think it's possible a 'fan base' might increase when the same actors' later works garner attention? I often go through actors' back catalogues when I see a great performance in a different drama.
Unpopular opinion - True beauty is very overrated it is a below avg show.
I'd say it was pretty good overall. It starts off brilliantly, but doesn't quite go the distance. By the end, certain jokes had passed their sell by dates, like the sister being the man in her relationship, started off very funny, finished a trifle unfunny.
The same actress was in the drama Lost with Ryu Jun Yeol who is 14 years younger than her and no one complained…
Age gaps are fine, it's about being appropriate to the age of the character. Lost was an interesting story about a younger lover. The leads in this drama are written to be the same age, so you're right - seems like the writing team and the casting team had a punch up behind the scenes and neither backed down!
I'm struggling with the same issue and a few more issues. I won't go into any more detail, however.
I remember those comments... they ditched it in favour of an AI used to tune what to recommend to people. They didn't want feedback on content - the comments on bad shows were hilarious, they wanted to stop that. I laughed so much, I miss that! For example, there was a Star Trek series that got ripped apart, the female lead character's name was Michael Burnham, everything about it got ridiculed so badly, didn't go down well with Netflix at all.
I'm struggling with the same issue and a few more issues. I won't go into any more detail, however.
Same here, and I agree. They started out by providing great content and software for all ages and nationalities. I think as it's grown, it's lost it's grip on quality control and hired stock 'talent' from the established entertainment biz, it's become watery and political - and as you say, it's taking out its frustrations on its customers.

Oh don't get me started. I LOVE their work... but I hate the way they credit themselves across the art works they're subbing. Subs are supposed to be discreet. I'd have no problem if they began the drama with a mini movie about themselves, before or after, but not during the work - they mustn't add graffiti to other people's work, it looks a bit childish.
10 star rating for Goblin on your list ok it makes sense
Yes, I loved Goblin, I loved everything about it. How does it make sense though? If I didn't mind the age gap of 900 years in Goblin surely I'm not one to criticise age gaps in this drama - I don't want to notice it, I love JDY - maybe Mr Choi could have been older, but as it stands, it's nagging at me - that's all.
