We've seen 3 examples so far of parents doubling down when their kids crack, or even after one dies, doubling down on the survivor!! It's an issue, especially the portrayal of parents cheating and breaking rules to climb over others - so true. I thought it would make the whole drama too uncomfortable for a rom-com but it's been handled deftly... except the nastiness has overcast these last episodes, as you say.

It's a drama. It was dramatic. Case closed, you lose.

No comment on this case, life's complicated. But I wouldn't hold the USA as a beacon of virtue. When I look at the state of some Hollywood celebs I fully understand why SK is strict on these principles.

It's poignant, if you're mature you'll celebrate the way it reaches out to you and you'll relate to all the emotions and circumstances, the moments we hesitate, misunderstand things, succumb to our insecurities, step past the point of no return, accept things and force ourselves forward. He was in love with her.

Great drama, thoroughly enjoyed that little journey. Some personality traits not often explored in the main characters, about as far as they could go without it getting depressing.
