"What are your thoughts about this issue?"It is none of our business. Please do not continue to publish this sort…
I like you Lucy, I'm not trying to disrespect you.

It's definitely in our interest, it's connected to drama so it seems valid. Is it gossip? (no.) Let's establish that by business, you're really inferring 'interest' - otherwise 99.99% of all news is none of our business. Should we silence all the news outlets because it's not our business?

The reputation of the entertainment industry could be considered in our interest. The investigation of crimes is quite interesting. Crimes potentially involving celebrities is more than a little interesting.

Since she really was summoned by the police and it might lead to her dropping out of dramas (that were announced on MDL), don't you think there's a good enough reason to report it here?

So, personally I think that none of us have the right to try to silence reporting that we find disagreeable. It's illogical and it means this whole web site must cease - because at least one person disagrees with every article and every comment.

Not you... but there's a social media persona that various commenters like to project, they want to appear morally superior, it's narcissism. They're the ones that tell others what they cannot say, because in so doing it demonstrates their superior position, their better morals, and attempts to shut down other views. I think when you disagree about something, you could just lay out your arguments in a structured way, in whatever style you like. In your comment there's no explanation to why you think it's not 'our' business or why MDL could get sued; the rest is just accusation, insult and activists' battle cries.

If I'm honest this story alters my view of PMY, I think it might have repercussions. I don't see why we shouldn't read about it - in fact I'd like more details. Financial fraud or money laundering is a very serious crime if that's what this is, all participants get punished, there's no leeway for claims of ignorance. A name is one thing, but it's not just a name... regulations mean an institution needs to fully verify that name and the named person must be active in those checks. Why does a 'mere witness' need to be summoned - formally questioned - was she accompanied by her lawyer? She's been fully booked since joining Hook, at what cost? She 'dated' that guy, is that a euphemism? How did they meet? What sort of agency is Hook? I want to know more about it. If this was a drama none of you would fully be on her side - because the drama would also illustrate the hidden victims of these crimes.

That, for me, was the trolley decision
In the first episode they discussed the titular trolley problem. In the last episode I believe that pressurised decision to save or abandon Ji-hoon was the trolley decision. Leaving him appeared to benefit the majority on the face of things, the final outcome was completely unexpected - what would his decision have been if he knew? Isn't this what the hypothetical trolley problem is about?

Very impressed with the writing in this drama, there were many times I thought "he/she's*obviously* going to... x/y/z" and was pleasantly surprised every time. Characters were all spot on too, the way insidious undertones crept in was delicate. Really great acting too, it was well made.

I don't think so, tbh I thought her choice was a consequence of another. The tram issue has to be a choice that affects all the other outcomes? One person made the critical choice - for me, but it depends on whose outcome you're interested in I suppose.

So that was the tram problem. Or should I say those were them, so many... but one in particular was the key, imo. Clue: it wasn't Hye-joo's.

Can I suggest an alternative view? Is it possible that some clever publicists are beating the Seung-gi drum? I like him, but he's a classic attention seeker... I was a little cynical at the marriage announcement and the style of it - but stopped myself commenting... now the 'fans' (publicists?) disapprovals, next we'll get yet another heart-felt letter to request the fans respect his private life... oh, with the standard request not to speculate and make stuff up... I mean, the response to this article is a little surprising to me, but going perfectly to plan? Isn't he in need of some attention right now? His trajectory plateaued some time ago, it's now going the other way. Call me cynical. Sorry!

You're leaving now? What if we get a full on Parasite ending too?
I was joking. A few details are similar to the movie Parasite, and there was even an in-joke in the script about it... mum introduced as housemaid to same rich family whose kids are tutored by the daughter. I made a joke that if the end of the story was like Parasite it would be a spectacle - naturally I don't think it will as it was just a joke.

Nothing bothers me about these characters, I'm looking forward to the final 4 episodes, it's a super entertaining drama, whatever happens is ok with me.
