Kimchi is just cabbage. Although it seems popular, I can't really see cabbage tasting good. Guess i'll have to try and see someday. I really want to try korean chicken and beef. The way they eat it, it looks really nice.

I've never tried any but korean food does seem the best. I really want to have Sundubu-jjigae and know what soju tastes like since it's in every korean drama you watch. What have you tried?
Wu Zhu is not a grand master, he is an android-robot. He is the most powerful of them all.
Yh I'm kinda aware of that. But, why doesn't he count as a grand master? It is because he has a different type of martial arts that differs from others since he's not human, so you cannot categorise or compare his skill to humans? Also, can Wu Zhu even die?
I like it, but personally I would have preferred if the show was just a tad darker and if the male lead was a…
Couldn't agree more... I'm still enjoying this but I feel like it could have been so good. It would have so much more interesting and engaging if Yook Dong Shik kinda over time embraced being a psychopath and 'accepted' what he believes to be him. And, yeah, i too wish he was smarter and more competent. Plus, he's always hesitant, flipping every minute between being a complete wimp or a 'badass' psychopath. I just wish they'd shown him changing, becoming darker and darker, and eventually being so conflicted with his own actions after finding out the diary wasn't his and he wasn't a psychopath. A darker story with black comedy would have been perfect I think.
The Qi emperor drugged FX and slept with him for a baby, does that count? That's not going to fly in the drama.
But doesn't Si Lili like Fan Xian? Also, does the relationship between Fan Xian and Si Lili develop further? It's clear that she has feeling for him when they separate after reaching Northern Qi.

Yeah, that's probably my favourite scene too. I think it was that scene where they both started to like each other without even knowing it, especially Xia Yao. I feel the exact same way about food too... I've seen so many korean and chinese dramas that show people eating things that look so bloody good. Hopefully one day i'll get to try some of the stuff.

Yeah I've heard that The Longest Day in Changan is brilliant. I'm gonna binge watch it in like 48 hours when I have spare time. I get too addicted and can't stop myself from watching when I'm really into a drama so it's best if i wait until i have a lot of spare time with no commitments. That way it'll not mess up my schedule lol

I literally just explained what I meant. As I stated, I don't think the drama is bad ("This drama isn't bad"). And, the censorship rules don't bother me too much ("I don't really care about China's censorship rules"). I liked the BL relationship ("The main characters relationship feels kinda unique and special"). But, it doesn't have a bloody ending.. I don't mean it doesn't have a happy ending etc, it literally feels like someone cut the episode off and started playing an animation. All those episodes to develop their relationship and then nothing happens. It gives no conclusion whatsoever. Therefore, I do not think it is worth watching. Also, I haven't watched any Thai BLs. I just know they don't have much censorship, so if that is what someone is looking for, then they should go ahead and check them out. Ok, I read this through and it kinda sounds like I'm pissed off but I just wanna let you know, I'm not. I'm just trying to explain that I didn't solely base my opinion of the ending. I said what I liked and what I didn't like.
The emperor is indeed a grand master. He's that secret grand master inside the palace that most people assume…
Wait... so the eunuch that Wu Zhu fought/distracted ,while Fan Xian sneaked into the palace to steal the key, isn't a grand master? So what is he? Another ninth dan master or something but people think he's a grand master?
I'm at episode 39 right now (waiting for english subtitles). It's quite clear that the Northern Qi emperor is a beautiful young woman. She kinda seems to like Fan Xian too. Anyone who has read the novels, Is there a possibility that Fan Xian and her get into a relationship? Also, is the emperor of Qing a martial arts grand master? I read on wiki that he is. Is this true from the novels? I thought there were only 4 grand masters and we know them all by now. Plus, Wu Zhu who is equally skilled as a grand master, if not better.
This drama is a real gem! I dropped this drama fter watching four episodes but I picked up this drama because…
I agree, it is a gem. I was hooked after the first episode. The acting is good from everyone imo. Even the child actor playing Fan Xian was amazing. My favourite characters have got to be Fan Xian and Duo Duo. Their interactions are pure gold. Nevermind waiting for seasons 2 and 3, I'm impatiently waiting for subtitles for episodes 40-46. This drama has been so entertaining so far.
Cannot find this drama & the young blood drama on iqiyi app :(. Am i searching wrong??
You can find 'Young Blood' on iQIYI (no subtitles tho). You can find 'Joy of Life' on WeTV app but only in certain countries. Depending on where you are from, you may not be able to play it. But, Joy of Life is available raw and with english subtitles on many websites. Viki is the main official website I guess.
Can people recommend me some dramas please. I'm looking for historical dramas, preferably with at least some romance. I like there to be some action/martial arts. Hidden identities or illnesses are a bonus. Only problem is, I've probably watched most of the good historical dramas so please list as many as you can? I'll list some of my favourites to give examples of what I like: -Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms -Fight Break Sphere -Colourful Bone -Fighter of the Destiny -Legend of Yun Xi -Noble Aspirations -Novoland: Eagle Flag -The Untamed -The Legends -And of course, I absolutely love Joy of Life
No. If I remember correctly, I don't think the public ever learns that Jee was the driver who hit and killed the woman (I'm sorry I can't remember her name). But, basically all the important characters in the drama know that it was Jee. The accident wasn't entirely Jee's fault because she was trying to escape from someone. Jee's 'step-dad' drugs her and tries to rape her. Jee manages to escape in her car, but she isn't fully aware or in control due to the drug, which leads to her hitting the woman in the road. She wasn't driving carelessly intentionally, she was simply trying to save herself, therefore it wasn't her fault. The girl , who gets hit and killed by Jee, is the woman Thit loves. Thit suspects/is almost sure that Jee was driving the car that hit her but has no evidence to prove this since the evidence was destroyed by Jee's friends/family (initially without Jee's consent or knowledge). What Thit doesn't know are the circumstances behind the cause of the accident. This causes him to misunderstand Jee and hate her. Eventually, Thit starts seeing the real side of Jee and starts having feelings for her. The same happens for Jee.
